Happy Sunday!! ☀️ This morning I finished styling shelves at @sgspeaker home. 🤗 (If you’d like to see the before pic and process of styling, check my stories!) I used sentimental items they had, mixed with plants I bought, and some awesome things I found at a thrift store. Lastly, I added the baskets on the bottom which I found at @aldiusa! Coopers been all over the place lately! Happy Sunday! Just enjoying my coffee while doing some online shopping! Doesn’t get much better than this! Side note, this wall was pretty much the biggest dilemma I had in this house. If you can’t tell, the wall is at an angle and I couldn’t figure out what to do with it. So I embraced the weirdo angle and now it’s probably my fave space in our house. When life throws you a curve (or weirdo angled wall), try looking at your situation from a different perspective...and embrace the weirdness. There’s your Sunday wisdom. 🤣😜😜😜

🤩If you’ve been following my stories you know I scored this ginormous vintage leather sectional for a song! Literally saw it and was on the phone to buy it in a hot minute, without measuring or seeing it in person!🤪 My husband almost killed himself bringing it in but we both agree it was worth it! I seem to have an endless amount of boxes in my house. I think we must be Amazon’s best customer! The kitchen bench has become a dumping ground and the dining room table is basically a giant plant stand! I love this part of the house, but there is still so much I want to do to it. Today we have been to soft play and to our social club. The Kid loves it there as it has a big garden to play in and to ride her bike. Unfortunately living in London Gardens are few and far between when you are on a budget so we live in a flat above a shop with no outside space. We are a 10 minute walk down hill to Tooting Common so we aren't completely deprived but on a lovely day like today it would have been nice to have a BBQ. Anyone else have no garden space? .

A recent study reported by phys.org stated that online shopping, steaming video, and working remotely, has lead to a substantial increase in the time we spend at home. So, we should love our space! ❤️ If your like me, you have a hard time narrowing down design elements you’ll love long term. To help with this, I examined all my Pinterest pins saved over YEARS, to find the common thread. (I put my “most saved” 😂 in my story). I determined the common elements are: neutral with different pops of color, a cultivated but whimsical slant, and a focus on art. Pinpointing these elements should help me make some tweaks to the rooms that don’t feel quite right!! What’s your strategy for tweaking rooms? Share them below!~

Because I'm NOT just a mom. Being a mother IS my calling. But you can have more than one calling. I have been called to be a mom to these 4 boys and I have also been given a pretty ridiculously creative mind. I think it's serving my family and my kids to use that creativity for something that fills up my cup so I can pour into them when I'm home with them. No one can put from an empty cup! The beauty of working for myself is that I can decide who I work for, when I work, and what I put my time and efforts into. I put a little piece of me into every room and home I design; my clients become lifelong friends. And....maybe we we are such good friends now that they wouldn't mind me just moving right into this room too.... I mean, maybe just for a little vacay??? Not awkward at all, right?! 😂🎉🙌

Happy Sunday! We’re having a slow start to our day because realized this morning that we were out of coffee beans. 😭 My husband roasts his own coffee which is amazing, but right now I’m running on fumes while I wait for him to make a new batch. I might have to drag my lifeless body out of the house and go buy a coffee ☕️ Here’s a closeup of part of the new gallery wall in the dining room. The bar cart was an old plant cart I spray painted gold. The candlesticks on the bar cart are a thrift store score from a while ago and that lamp was $1 🥳

Calm Sunday over here! We did some garden work and had a lil’ play date. Still a bit afraid being out too long with Emma or letting her touch things, where pollen could have gotten to - translate to EVERYTHING! 😩 but we just have to wash hand rigorously and clean the eyes and hope for no repeat of Friday. Anyway! This is our outdoor lounge area, where the hubby and me tend to sit in the summer evenings, sipping our respective beverages🍹 Those are the favourite kind of nights, even though it means my NCIS tv marathons coming to an end 😂

The curtain saga continues, folks. Yesterday I went to Target... again, (don't judge me🙈) to get one more pair of curtains for our bedroom. Well lo and behold, on my return home I was REAR ENDED! The driver at fault hit my car so hard, that I slammed into the car in front of me and so on, until FOUR vehicles were involved in the crash. I'm fine- no one was injured, luckily! A few months ago I made a conscious decision to follow more accounts that are really different from what I would normally be drawn to...and in doing so, I intentionally look for one thing to like about each image that is flying on by. One bit of inspiration, no matter how big or how small, and one genuine compliment to give. I look for something “good.” I have come to realize that even if I’m not necessarily feeling the image, I can 💯 percent get behind the fact that the person posting it finds joy in what they are sharing. Feeling goodness in another person’s joy is the way to go! It’s rather contagious and a pretty good metaphor for engaging in life. Have a sweet Sunday, friends 🧡

New pillow covers are on there way 🙈(you can NEVER have to many pillow covers!) I love the green one but lightening things up in here for the warmer weather! Switched the fuzzy black blanket with the cream lighter one. Switched the grey curtains to white ones. Took a few plants out of the room to open it up! Feels so clean ☺️☺️ what do you do to lighten up a space and make it more airy?

Happy Sunday! Just enjoying my coffee while doing some online shopping! Doesn’t get much better than this! Side note, this wall was pretty much the biggest dilemma I had in this house. If you can’t tell, the wall is at an angle and I couldn’t figure out what to do with it. So I embraced the weirdo angle and now it’s probably my fave space in our house. When life throws you a curve (or weirdo angled wall), try looking at your situation from a different perspective...and embrace the weirdness. There’s your Sunday wisdom. 🤣😜😜😜

A recent study reported by phys.org stated that online shopping, steaming video, and working remotely, has lead to a substantial increase in the time we spend at home. So, we should love our space! ❤️ If your like me, you have a hard time narrowing down design elements you’ll love long term. To help with this, I examined all my Pinterest pins saved over YEARS, to find the common thread. (I put my “most saved” 😂 in my story). I determined the common elements are: neutral with different pops of color, a cultivated but whimsical slant, and a focus on art. Pinpointing these elements should help me make some tweaks to the rooms that don’t feel quite right!! What’s your strategy for tweaking rooms? Share them below!~
