  After a broken electrical box in the ceiling, a couple times straightening out the crystals, three or four swear words my pops put up my chandelier 😍 Now to enjoy some yoga + mediation before work, then we are off to find some bunnies and pick up some more water from @alpinewaterstoregp 🤗 Have you guys had alkalized water?   We are in the final stretch of @oneroomchallenge and now that most of the hardscape is done we move onto landscaping! We've been prepping quite a bit but next week its going to all come together in a magical way (I hope). ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

  Good morning guys! Mind the black edges on the second slide, the images were taken in a different orientation (obviously) and I wanted to make sure you could see the full shot! And all of it’s “blah”

  It’s CRAZY how much my style has evolved over a short couple years, and how much I’ve learned simply creating my own happy space! I used to be obsessed with white and only white, I think mostly because I was scared to incorporate anything else and didn’t have a clear idea of what MY style was. I spent a lot of time on Pinterest trying to replicate something vs using it as inspiration... know what I mean? I still spend tons of time on Pinterest, but it’s to spark my imagination, rarely to recreate! But I’m feeling pretty dang good about where this space is at now, it really feels like our sanctuary 🙌🏾

  It’s also crazy how I make the bed almost never... I’m always last out of it and almost always leave it like this on my way out of the house haha!! I will say though, it’s makes for a far more fun picture than perfection... messy beds for life 🙋🏾‍♀️

  Our cat-dog Kip has taken up residency on the fainting couch. •
  The jury is still out in our house on this piece. But it reminds me of one of my FAVORITE movies “Great Expectations” (the 1998 one with Gwenyth Paltrow & Ethan Hawke) The entire movie was filmed with this rich cool undertone and almost every element you could imagine was GREEN. It gives the movie a luscious relaxed elegance that I have always been SO entranced by. Have you seen it???

  Spent my Saturday wearing my second hat of @homebrewedandco shop owner, and here’s the honest truth. The hat wall I intended (with our new ball caps + eucalyptus, it was gorg on paper guys) didn’t last long, and we lost the top of the canopy twice to the wind. The early rush wiped us almost out of everything, and I was nervous we didn’t meet the goal I set for myself. The only thing I got to eat all day was a small pack of cheese cubes and raisins. And I slept for 11 hours afterward.
  -
  The hard work put into a pop-up shop is far from glamorous, but I got to meet so many new faces. I was surprised by lots of old friends. I got to share entrepreneurship with my nieces. And it was the best in-person sales event we’ve had yet. @wvhandcraftedcooperative keeps outdoing itself every time. What an amazing community to be a part of. THANK YOU to everyone who supported with a sale or a word of encouragement.

  You guys have the best memories! I have had at least a half a dozen of you ask if we ended up purchasing the green side bar I shared in stories a few weeks ago and the answer is YES!
  
  Here she is in all her glory...still not styled perfectly, I’m on the lookout for a long rectangular tray so if anyone sees one on their journey let me know, thrifted would be great!! And that’s my kitchen runner from @wayfaircanada, a perfect match or what?
  
  Hubby hung two more @ikeacanada picture ledges for me, one large one small, butted together (like we did in the living room) so I could display one of my most prized possessions, the 3 piece canvas of the Longest Covered Bridge in the World! This beautiful landmark is in my hometown, where I was born and raised, in Hartland, New Brunswick 🇨🇦. How many of you have seen her? Or better yet drove or walked through her? It’s one of the first things we always do when we go Home for a visit.
  
  And to answer your other burning decor questions....we had planned to use three pieces of furniture we brought with us from our last home but they were not a good fit. So in my usual thrifty fashion, I sold them so we could buy something different! The side bar is from @bennettsfurniture, the cute stool was on clearance from @walmartcanada, the runner is from @wayfaircanada and the picture ledges are of course @ikeacanada. We’ve continued the same paint colour “Off White” by @behrpaint out into this hallway.
