That’s a wrap on my summer seascape workshops here in Australia. I have 2 vacancies for the next ones in July and you can find those details on my website. Ready to head back to NZ now and escape this humidity 😅🙌🏻

Fancy that, an actual real life photo. ‘Sky Tower’ 20x30 on it’s way to the states. Thank you to all my clients and customers who support what I do. The best is yet to come, the rest has just been a warm up. @sonyaustralia@sonynz

Hey, if you’re not sick of my voice and might be interested in my photography, I have a podcast interview on the latest episode of ‘F-Stop Collaborate-and -Listen’. Matt and I spoke about my journey in photography, balancing family life, being the sole provider for my family, moving to New Zealand and other bits and pieces. Link in my bio and story. Cheers!

My baby girl Aurora is 2yrs old today. So grateful for the way she helps me view and appreciate the world.

‘Sound of silence’ on canvas for some legends in town. Forgot to throw in a banana for scale. I like our new kitchen floor as well.

Young Kea snacking on my car antenna. This is why my radio doesn’t work. Love these guys so much though. Whether I’m by the road like this or far in the back country, these special native birds make their presence known and see what you’re up to. Numbers are under treat though, due to invasive species wiping them out. Feeding them is also terrible, so if you’re visiting don’t give them any of your snacks please. @keaconservation

Fun little 10km round trip yesterday evening, with some swimming included. Standard conditions for the valleys around here. Waders or barefoot is the only option. Filming some of these trips to be part of the tutorials I release soon :) thanks for joining me @federicomonetti_photography

12 months ago we purchased our first house, packed up our lives and left everything we were familiar with to move to New Zealand. We couldn’t be happier of where we are and are thankful for everyone in our lives who have supported us. Of course it hasn’t been easy, just life in general, but we’ve grown closer together along the way. Thanks for following the journey and thanks for supporting my photography account @williampatino_photography here’s a few posts from there, just some faves from 2018. Take care, WP

- [ ] Reading and reacting to weather is a big part of my job, particularly when running workshops. The warmer air and prevailing westerly winds work well around the southern alps this time of year and we had plenty to work with last week on my summer tour of the South Island. Here’s an iPhone shot of one of the guys beneath a monster formation which continued to shift and morph for hours. @thehermitagehotel
