We love a good amusement park ride so this photo immediately caught our attention. Since the theme of this year’s event at @tedxaarhus was “Look Closer” we figured we would do that and reach out to #tedxaarhus to learn more. Here is what they said about this cool activation for the more than 700 attendees who gathered at the amusement park.
“Together with our main sponsor we opened the ferris wheel - and turned it into a great networking activity that was tied to our theme of 2018 'Look Closer': The ride itself provided a fresh look at our city from up above, but people were also given questions to discus while taking a spin. The questions were inspired by the talks they had just heard and were designed to spark conversations btween fellow TEDxers. The aim was to get people talking, make them look closer at each other and at themselves - and maybe even learn something surprising about the person they were sitting next to.”

Photographing from the side of a #tedxstage has many advantages. First off, a photographer doesn’t have to worry about getting in the way of the audience. Second, there is an opportunity to capture a significant amount of information in the shot: the #tedxlogo the #tedxspeaker the #redcircle and more. At @tedxsanfrancisco the stage provided a perfect amount of space so all of it could be captured, and the lighting was moody and dramatic. Look at the incredible shadow on the wall. We even get to see the timer on stage. It’s a really fun shot. #tedxsanfrancisco#tedx#sanfrancisco#california
There was a lot of “buzz” about this photo so we reached out to the organizer of @tedxvalladolid to learn more. “This pic is from one of the Experiences of the #TEDxValladolid 2018 - HERITAGE morning program- The morning program had 4 experiences + 4 Labs with former speakers. "Beekeeper for a day"
Bees pollinate a third of the world's crops and for 50 million years have thrived in coordinated colonies in surprising harmony but have been disappearing for decades. For those who love nature and those who want to get to know the world of bees and their importance in the ecosystems, we had a unique experience with a full protection equipment they had the opportunity to observe a hive, identify its inhabitants and acquire basic knowledge of beekeeping. In addition along the route the flora and fauna of the area has been explained and interpreted by experts.”
