This is my buddy Jake Mann @jpmannik. His family has been growing apples in Pajaro Valley, Santa Cruz County for over 100 years. This year will mark our 3rd year working with Jake and his family @thefivemileorchard. Had a blast cruising the back roads checking in on this years gravenstein crop. We also got a special delivery from a new family down the road #ohanafarms. Super stoked to connect with Shannon & work with these beautiful, standard rootstock, dry-farmed, organic, red gravenstein apples! #harvest2018#pajarovalleyapples#knowyourgrower
Quick trip down to San Diego to visit old friends and make new ones. Was a real pleasure to connect with Dave and Lee @raging_cider in San Marcos. Totally blown away by Dave’s style and skills. This dude was speaking my language! Strong terroir driven ciders, orchard keeper, native and wild yeast fermentater, barrels stacked to the ceiling, and a mycology enthusiasts with a punk rock ethos. Keep an eye out for this dude. Making some high level ciders. For real.
Thanks to our local tour guides for hosting and showing us around😘 @email@example.com
