Je suis en #vacances cette semaine, et c'est destination #Toronto ce matin. J'y vais pour le mariage d'une amie mais je vais en profiter pour aller faire un tour au Musée canadien des langues par la même occasion - missive et photos à suivre 🔎📸📃
I'm on #holiday this week and off to Toronto for a friend's wedding. I'm also looking forward to visiting the Canadian Language Museum while there - full report and images to follow soon 🔎📷📃
It’s really sad to leave this beautiful country. I was literally h-a-p-p-y every day here. Sometimes tired as hell, with jetlag, but happy 😊Not only because of this beautiful nature, but also because of canadians, who are really great. Super friendly, they trying to help you everywhere even if you didn’t ask, because you are confused or still trying to understand how things work on new country with another rules. It feels so gut, that you can always ask someone without thinking if it’s appropriate or not. It feels good, that you will be friendly welcomed everywhere. It feels good to smile and to be relaxed anytime. I will miss it. There are some things which are different from those I used to in Germany, but in general is very comfortable to travel in Canada. So, thank you, beautiful country, for welcoming us again ❤️🇨🇦❤️

Did you know that there are beautiful ice caves hidden in Golden Ears Provincial Park? This hiking trail is only 5 km, but it's bit tough on the legs because of the scrumble on the way to the top. However, it's totally worth it. Ice caves are always very misterious; it's like another world in some sense.
It's amazing how many hidden treasures are in British Columbia and in Canada. Hah?
Now imma get real nerdy for a second 🤓😂 This clock in Vancouver’s Gastown is a steamclock aka it’s powered by steam. There are only a few steam clocks in the world and their only purpose seems to be existing as tourist attractions. They aren’t even that old. But the one in Vancouver attracts a ton of tourists every day. 🤷🏻♀️
So, which wacky tourist attraction should I visit next? The world’s biggest pistachio in New Mexico? The Ben and Jerry’s flavor graveyard in Vermont? The abandoned Wizard of Oz theme park in North Carolina? Any other ideas? 😝

So now that instagram only shows my posts to less than 30% of my followers (based on engagement)... I'm wondering 🤔 what's the point in "following" people? Not just for the people that follow me, but for who I myself follow. I'm not guaranteed to see their posts just because I follow them. 🤔 hmm?? But isnt that the point in following someone? (so confused) My posts now reach a higher percentage of people that DO NOT follow me.🤔 What the hell instagram?! I scroll through my newsfeed and after 1 post from someone I follow, an ad pops up. Every third post in my feed is a "sponsored ad"now. 👎🏼 no me gusta. I didn't know what to put for the caption of this picture, so I figured I'd ask all of you- that is ...the few of you who will actually see this post... what do you guys think of all this? Have you noticed similar things lately on instagram? Comment below and maybe that will help boost our "engagement" and we can be friends on instagram again. WEE.
