Off to London this evening! ✈️ Not gonna lie, I really don’t like flying. 🙈 Having said that, it never stops me going places, life’s too short to miss out on fun adventures. Do you enjoy flying?
Throwback to these beautiful gardens 😍 I just couldn’t resist all the colours. 💐🌷🌸 Hope you’re all having a wonderful Sunday 🤗
The full Irish breakfast doesn’t mess around. Black pudding, white pudding, bacon (which looks like ham to us), rashers (sausages), tomato (broiled), and eggs. Plus brown bread and toast on the side. Eleanor made the foreigner’s mistake of trying to make another cuisine more homey by asking if she could have cheese in her scrambled eggs.
Clearly that is not a thing here, or at least in this particular corner of Ireland, because she took one bite and said, “I don’t really like these eggs.”
From the look of them, I thought maybe they were just more soft-scrambled than she was used to. Then I took a bite. And definitely chomped into something fruity, with a taste I couldn’t quite place.
“It tastes like apricots,” Eleanor said.
Yes...and no. After a couple more bites, I finally placed the taste as Stilton. Cheese studded with apricot chunks: delicious on crackers, not quite as lovely in morning eggs.
We’ll be taking the full Irish as offered from now on, no modifications.
How fun is this idea?! Talk about a cool flip! From basic table & chairs to the fun, bright, whimsical touch a dining room needs!! Come on...who wouldn’t want to enjoy some wine, food, and amazing conversation around that table?!
