First day in Puerto Princesa. Woke up at 5:30am for the sunrise then spent the rest of the morning paddle boarding around the mangrove trees and the sea.
Through the thicker parts of the trees is the ‘Love Tunnel’. Paddle through it to get to a beautiful opening where you’re surrounded by only nature.
Swipe to the last photo to see a storm forming further out in the ocean and the little mangrove saplings growing in sea water.

Lake tahoe stole my heart today and gave me so much special treatment for my birthday. The last parking spot in the lot, light winds, perfect lighting, water conditions and very low crowds where we paddled to. We moved at the pace of snails, stopping all over to just soak in the beautiful water and scenery. 1 year ago this was not a possible activity for me so it was great to be able to get out and paddle around slowly and with a big smile on my face. Lake tahoe, we will be back very soon!!! #paddleboard#paddleboarding#Laketahoe#Cali#California#birthday#fun#living#water
We drove around the entire island of Kauai to get to this sunset.
After spending the whole day with 6 of us driving through Waimea Canyon, the day was coming to an end. We knew it was going to be our last day in Kauai and there was one place that we hadn't been yet.
We all agreed it was worth the drive around Kauai for a visit to Hanalei Bay. I'm thinking that we made the right choice.

I took the Lowrider out for the first time since I bought it over a week ago. There was a small ding on the underside so I put a coat of epoxy around it just to be safe. It was very small anyway so this is precautionary - I can monitor the ding through the clear epoxy and if it enlarges then I can do some surgery. But I had to confirm that the Lowrider was seaworthy with a trip down the river. .
This board is a few pounds lighter and a few inches less wide than my HD board and that translates to a LOT more speed but a little less stability. A very fun change of pace to my other board. I was zooming down the river with the help of the faster currents from the high water. .
The recent onslaught of rain has made the river incredibly high. Almost the entire river has overflown, making it feel like a marsh. So I got to explore some new places. It seems like the high waters also brought out the big gators because they were everywhere today. And the high waters and therefore low visibility means no more swimming 😤 probably until after the rainy season. There were only a couple spots that were safe enough to swim anyway but they were swallowed up and unrecognizable today. Guess I’ll be traveling to more spring fed rivers - which I’m doing tomorrow!! Happy Fathers Day
Hope you are finding your paradise today
Happy #InternationalSurfingDay !!!! #ISD I watched some amazing people arrive in Lake Worth after paddling from the Bahamas!!!!! And caught a few bumps, tabled for Oceana at @crossingforacure and paddled with this RAD #loggerhead sea turtle. 🤙🏾 I’ve paddled and surfed Lake Worth many times (both north and south of pier). I’ve never had an issue. Today I asked a lifeguard where to paddle- he said best to stay inside the swim zone because there are lots of boats today. I asked a different lifeguard what the USUAL rules are. This lifeguard said that you can put your board in ANYWHERE. He said usually they prefer paddlers stay outside the swim zone, but as long as you aren’t bothering anyone, they will not say anything. But again, you can put your board in anywhere, he repeated. Thank you Lake Worth Ocean Rescue for being so sensible! Would any of you like a job on Hollywood Beach? What’s cool about Lake Worth Pier beach is that you can paddle, sit on the beach with your family, AND buy food from the restaurants there. 🤙🏾Congratulations to all those who paddled today for a great cause. 😎 #paddle#sup#crossingforacure2019#crossingforacure#standuppaddle@oceana_florida#seaturtle#loggerheadturtles#ocean#florida#protectourcoast#paddleboarding#paddleboard@bogasup#standuppaddlingisnotacrime
