I have to say I’m hoping for a better week weather wise. I’m not one to shy away from the bit of rain - but that was more than a bit! Crikey, it never seemed to stop. It didn’t stop our adventures though. Theo and Genie headed to Jesmond Dene on Thursday afternoon. We started at Paddy Freeman’s Park to mix things up and explore the end of the dene we never quite make it to. We all may have been soaked through but I left with 2 happy doggos 😀 #engageinteractexplore#liveyourbestlife
Went on a local adventure to check out a couple waterfalls, but they were pretty dry as expected due to the PNW's recent warm weather.
Coal Creek is a perfect example of why it's important to stay on designated trails. Did any of my local furry buddies know that Cougar Mountain sits above old coal mines in which many are still on fire even though they're no longer in use? If you go off trail, you could easily fall into an unmarked cave. There is one that falls more than 500 ft deep below sea level. 😱
