After last nights antics heaps stoked to be turning 25 cheers for all you legends sending me birthday love from around the world yesterday. hands down that was one of my best birthday yet here's to 25 more years being a menace around the world and meeting more of you guys along the way
Moving through life, time stubbornly tells us it is a linear process, but some days dredge in the mud while some years clap like lightning. The limbo it is to be a mid-twenty anything year-old: a limbo between worlds, both full of youth and joy and yet acting out adulthood. But aren’t we all? Each year I feel more and more sure that I know less and less. That I move through life hovering just an inch above my own self, watching myself and those around me playing life like it is a game or that somewhere there was a manual on how to do it right. A degree, a job, a family, a vacation in Cabo and on again: What of this formula disturbs me so? The complete assuredness of it is what makes it feel so fake—shiny, plastic, packaged and thus, not real. The most ‘real’ of life formulas is that which makes it the most difficult to accept. And in moment where I find my own feet trodden near that path, my head spins. Sometimes with joy and other times with confusion. Always however, with a clever acknowledgement and amusement of that which is my own life. And that those in proximity take it all so seriously. This gift of mind and body and soul—for freedom of intimate thought to trick us into thinking we are somehow unique or different than all that has come before. Unless one is to throw a major wrench in the machine of their own comfort and assuredness—I cannot see how this is true. .

I may have been MIA for a while but behind the scenes I've been tinkering away, edging slowly, closer and closer to the location independent lifestyle I yearn. I feel like I'm playing a hypothetical game of twister what with all the opportunities that surround me at the moment.
Honestly? Thoughts of doubt have crossed my mind in many shapes and for many reasons. I plan to write more about this on my blog. (once it's launched, I know!) I don't listen too much, as I'm fully aware of my insecurities and limitations.
What: Golden Langur
Where: Umananda island, Guwahati.
Golden Langur is one of the world’s 25 most endangered primates. They can be found in small forest patches of western Assam and black mountains of bhutan. .
On my last visit to guwahati, umananda island sustained 5 Golden langurs. Now, only one is left. When one of the 5 langurs met with and accident, state forest department relocated 3 of them to conservation centre, however fourth langur was too quick to be caught.
From last few years population of Golden langur is dwindling.
But why did these primates, which managed to survive for several million years, suddenly become ‘endangered’? Reason is simple- destruction of their natural habitat and lack of proper breeding.
