Love, I said real love, it's like feeling no fear, when you're standing in the face of danger
'Cause you just want it so much, a touch, from your real love, it's like heaven taking the place of something evil, and lettin' it burn off from the rush.
Darlin', darlin', darlin'
I fall to pieces when I'm with you, I fall to pieces
My cherries and wine, rosemary and thyme. And all of my peaches (are ruined). Love, is it real love? It's like smiling when the firing squad's against you. And you just stay lined up. My celluloid scenes are torn at the seams, why? 'Cause I love you so much. I fall to pieces, when I'm with you.
I loved this place. I only stopped one night which is all you need.
It was like an albion (west brom) village. Was ace.
It's nicknamed the blue pearl. Its not only known as Chefchaouen, but Chaouen too.
So whys it blue?
Theyre not 100%. One popular theory is that the blue keeps mosquitos away. Too early in the year for those anyway.
Another is that Jews introduced the blue when they took refuge from Hitler in the 1930s.
Jewish belief is that the blue is said to symbolize the sky and heaven, and serve as a reminder to lead a spiritual life.
However, according to some locals, the walls were mandated to be painted blue simply to attract tourists at some point in the 1970s.
Whichever reason it is, and I would believe they all had a part, this place is awesome.
It sits beautifully perched between the rif mountains, and looks wonderful down every little side street you go. Very safe.
They grow cannabis in the fields nearby which you can visit and I was going to, but theyve just done the harvest so unluckily just missed out. Would of been been cool to have a pic at a field full of it.
Side note, I've never been offered so much weed in one place lol.
