Drapery for a nursery with french return hardware for @psanddaughters - Phoebe used @kls_textiles and the result is spectacular-we developed a special pleat technique for her so she gets exactly what she wants! Love this fabric-so fun!
Don’t mind me... Just reposting from Insta Queen @the_girl_with_the_green_sofa I blooming love this room! #repost • @the_girl_with_the_green_sofa Evening from Scotland where I have a small overnight in Edinburgh before heading to Glasgow. Not sure why I’m posting other than I’m in the usual (I’ve had several months off therefore I’m going backwards and no one sees me), slump. And having been here four times before I’m not sure I want to be again. I.e this is my last throw of the dice before I fully concentrate on the day job.
Here is a third of my kitchen, you can just see the chair in my dining room part in the picture and my entire cooking, island unit, kitchen is not captured in this shot. I don’t believe this room has ever been captured in its entirety in all the features I’ve had, I’ve tried so hard myself but it is an awkward big room.
Anyway, I’m much preferring the green, yellow blue arrangement, what about you?

It’s only Monday and we already can’t wait to get in bed with a nice glass of red and some bedside reading!
Has anyone read anything interesting lately? We just finished Educated by Tara Westover and absolutely loved the read. Share with us your recommendations and we’ll add it to our blog 😊
This beautiful shot thanks to @magzzhu 💕
We have been busy this week installing projects, which means there will be new content going up on our website in the near future!

Another evening shot for me that I took at the weekend because if you could see this room tonight, you’d understand why I can’t take one now 😂
My little Florence had three of the biggest seizures she’s ever had yesterday and today she’s began with the small myoclonic jerks again too. I’m not going to lie, it’s absolutely gutted me. I feel like we are back to square one of her journey and I’ve cried so many tears since yesterday morning.
Today though, instead of accepting defeat, I’ve implemented the ketogenic diet 100%. I fought hard to be given the go ahead with this as I’m very much anti pharmaceuticals and they’ve caused Florence so many problems from the start of her epilepsy. The idea was to wean her off carbohydrates which I have been doing for the past couple of weeks. But today I woke up and decided that today is the day we go full swing. If there’s any hope of keeping her seizures at bay, it’s this diet now. She’s eaten everything I’ve given her, and so has her big sister, Gabriella. They’ve both even let me prick their fingers tonight to test for ketones and blood glucose levels - although Florence really didn’t like it bless her.
I am so so proud of those girls and I feel so lucky to be able to call them mine.
I’m really hoping that this bit of a shake up doesn’t affect the momentum I feel like I’ve gathered on Instagram and with my print business on Etsy. I’m going to try my hardest to spread my efforts but I really can’t predict what’s going to happen. I just hope it doesn’t mean I’ll have to start from scratch with my business in the future 🤞🏼 Sorry for the slightly downbeat post tonight guys, but I know so many of you care and it’s very comforting to know I have this as an outlet💜💜 •
One lesson I’m learning with decorating our home is that it will be a process for a long time. On our vlog today (link in bio), we go on the hunt for curtains and a rug to refine our home library space. There’s so much trial and error that goes into creating a space you love and some of that just comes with living in the space and giving it time.

There arerent many words to describe how I’m feeling today so instead I just wanted to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU to you all! 🙏🏾☺️ Thank you for all the support and love you’ve shown me since I announced my new book. ❤️❤️❤️ That is all 😭😆 .
I really love Mondays.. Not all of them are quiet like this, so I’m trying to remind myself how good it feels.
I have SO much programming around productivity that it can be hard to not have a giant To Do list!
Even just saying that is weirdn

So hi there! 👋👋👋 It’s been awhile? 😂 (understatement)
As I try to be in right action with social media, I’d love to know what it is about this place, my little feed, that makes you pay attention! Anything you want to see/hear more of? It would mean a lot to me if you let me know! 💙💙💙💙
phew, i got my *ask* out of the way.. (Asking for stuff makes me feel weird sometimes... so THANK YOU!) And now... on with the show... Can we just agree that sometimes it’s hard to articulate stuff?
That sometimes, there’s so much that trying to capture it in *just the right way* feels kinda off?
Real life is big- and demanding and sometimes you haven’t digested the mess enough to report back.
I like sharing , but usually only once I’ve processed it. That way, i get to sit in it and think about it as an experience. Writing it out helps me synthesize the whole thing.
So here’s a snippet into what’s been going on:
Some paintings, some charcoal, some ink, some hiking, loads of cooking and harvesting, intense parenting and planning, loads of morning pages #artistway and some of the best conversations I’ve ever had. Speaking at a @connectepsychology event, designing designing designing and then wondering what next, what else, what more... My mind races and researches to find the answers and my heart....my heart she reminds me that the answers are ALWAYS INSIDE. They come from quiet reflection, from the whispers you hear in the Forrest.
I don’t know where you’re at in your life, your work, your heart, but I’m with you- every messy step.
