Wins come in different ways for people and even though I have squatted more in my day for 1 rep, the win for today is that not only has my squat weight been continually going back up, but also that I didn’t freak out about not having a spotter! I had this thing in the past that when it got around this weight, I HAD to have my coach spotting me because it made me feel safer or something. Today I didn’t think much of it and just did the freaking squat. 1 rep with RPE of 9 at 172lbs today followed by 2x3 at 150lbs. When looking at my film, looks like I went pretty deep which probs made it harder than it needed to be, and also looks like I need to get those elbows under more.     Glad to see this for motivation Joy! I was feeling none of my squats and overall they have felt like all the crap lately. But we just have to stick with it and keep on working.

    @thfaga2 it’s crazy how strength training ebbs and flows so much!! But sticking to the plan and trudging forward is always the best way! 💪🏻
