I heard a story yesterday from a friend/agent who said she wants to insist going forward that her clients “make a decision” instead of “learn about options” with life. Although that’s a very forward gesture during the sale, I agree: if you’re going to feel responsible if your clients die without life insurance, you had better have a very clear record that they made the decision to do so.
