Our number 1, go-to comfort food: classic grilled cheese. Not my typical healthy fare of late, but for the last couple of days our household has fallen to a stomach bug. We haven’t eaten a vegetable (or anything really substantial for that matter) and have lived on toast and these grilled cheese sandwiches. I could stress about that or possibly force something else down, but sometimes wellness is listening to your body, nurturing it with something else in this moment. I know eventually I’ll be able to stomach green veggies again, but in the meantime, griddled sourdough bread and melty American cheese are keeping me afloat.
