Not only did we LOVE the food in Byron but I loved how mindful they were with single use plastic and supporting their community.
Plastic cutlery was non existent and replaced with compostable ones. Every week, the community heads to the market to pick up fresh food from local businesses and farmers (everyone brings their own bag or basket). Locals support each other’s businesses, for example when I got a breakfast sandwich from the market the bun was from a business down the street that makes them fresh.
Watching how this community works inspires me to go home and make some changes of my own. For starters I’ll definitely be going to more markets and helping support more local businesses.
Have you ever gone somewhere that’s INSPIRED CHANGE for you?

I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST A DINNER SPOT 🙈😍
I’d only ever heard of this place from Lisa and seeing pictures on Instagram and I truly thought it was just a place you had dinner at. Boy was I wrong.
. @thegrounds turns their property into different themes often. We were lucky enough to experience this Aladdin theme which will end mid June. On top of the beautiful decor are several vendors selling flowers, donuts, fresh lemonade and all kinds of food. SWIPE for a little video 🎥

I THOUGHT IT WAS ILLEGAL😬
When Lisa and I spoke about coming to Sydney I had one shot in mind. It’s a shot I’ve seen countless times on here but ever since I got my drone it’s been on my bucket list of shots to try out for myself.
A couple of days ago, I’d looked up drone laws in this area and asked around but we were getting conflicting messages “it’s illegal but if you see an official just hide the drone” or “you’re good just don’t fly higher than 30m or near people”. I always like to respect the drone laws so if I hear the word “illegal”, I don’t fly.
I left feeling crushed. We kept asking around and finally there was a consensus “I fly there all the time it’s ok. Just don’t fly near anyone or exceed 30m because helicopters go through that airspace.” Great!
We went back yesterday, I put the drone in the air and started panicking lol. I hadn’t flown in a while and there was someone else flying that didn’t seem to know what they were doing. Any drone parents out there that still get nervous flying? 🙋🏻♀️ So as you can see I got the shot I wanted and couldn’t be happier with the way it turned out!
WHAT A NIGHT! 👏🏼👏🏼
Last night @lisahomsy and I got the chance to experience the world premiere of Alegria by @cirquedusoleil. Every single part of this show gave me chills!! The combination of costumes, incredibly talented performers and the music made this show a must see.

What did you love doing when you were 6 years old? Someone was telling me the other day that what you loved doing at 6 is probably something similar to what you’re doing now. Wasn’t sure how I felt about this idea but I was intrigued.
I couldn’t remember what I was doing at 6 so I asked my parents and they said everything! I was curious about trying things, learning things and then when I’d figure it out I’d move onto something else. That’s pretty much me today.
This is probably why I’ve been able to do content creation for so long because it’s always changing and the possibilities of creation are endless. It will always keep me learning and curious about what I can create next.
DO YOU REMEMBER WHAT YOU LOVED DOING AT 6?
