Sickness and symptoms are developing and worsening at such a rapid rate among both adults and children in our world today that the measures you might have taken before to help improve your health might not be enough anymore. Have you noticed that unhealthy diet and lifestyle choices you used to get away with now affect you in a much greater way? For the first time in my 30-year struggle with psoriasis, I was contemplating a heavy duty drug treatment. 💉 My patches were getting larger, and the sun wasn’t helping anymore. I felt embarrassed and ashamed because I thought my body was attacking itself. ⚠️ I was terrified someday I’d wake up and be completely covered in psoriasis. I avoided steroids and pharmaceuticals for 20 years, but I was starting to lose faith in natural healing, something so important to me!💥 I’d been vegetarian since childhood, and in my 20’s and 30’s I’d tried multiple elimination diets, supplements, exercise programs, fasts, cleanses, affirmations, energy work, and traveled the world seeing healers from many different cultures. | YOUR LIVER’S IMMUNE SYSTEM | The liver is such a complex and heroic organ, and it has an amazing feature—its very own personalized immune system—which helps fend off illness and protect your health. The liver actually has six unique immune functions with six different kinds of immune cells.
It’s unbelievable how much we rely on our livers and how much the health of our liver influences whether we experience a chronic illness or symptom. Millions of people in the U.S. alone are chronically sick, they’re not functioning, and our medical communities don’t know enough yet about how to help.
Chronic illness is a global burden that’s getting worse every year because the truth about what’s really causing these sicknesses and illnesses is not known or understood in conventional or alternative medical communities. For instance, science and research don’t yet know how the liver is involved in chronic conditions, or that this organ has a powerful and intricate immune system. Sadly, people are left without answers, and worse, without hope for healing.

Pizza Potato Pockets
4-5 medium-sized potatoes
1 tbsp potato starch
3 tbsp tapioca flour
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried basil
1 tsp water (if needed)
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 steamed potato, diced
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp paprika or smoked paprika
1 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp sea salt (more if needed)
1/4-1/3 cup water or vegetable broth
1/2 cup tomato paste
1 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp raw honey
3-4 tbsp water
Sea salt and pepper, to taste
Place all the potatoes in a large pot fitted with a steaming basket. Add a few inches of water and steam until soft, about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Remove and cool for 10-15 minutes, until cool enough to handle. Remove one of the potatoes from the pot and set aside for the cheese sauce.
Place the remaining potatoes in a large, flat-bottomed bowl or pot and mash until they are broken down. Add the sea salt, pepper, potato starch, tapioca flour, oregano and basil, and mash until the flour and starch have been incorporated.

Before I read these books I knew certain foods were physically good for me, but reading about spiritual and emotional aspects of different foods and applying that to my own life to help heal my own trauma has made me so connected to the food I put in my body.
The realization that healing foods could reach parts of my life beyond the physical was revelational in the way I eat.
The things I learned from Anthony have taught me things I never knew about myself and the foods I love 🍍 .
