There’s so many things that make Vermont my favorite state. Partnering with @vermonttourism and @cabotcheese has led me down beautiful back roads, through covered bridges & rolling hills, to cozy cabins, rushing rivers and abundant orchards with friendly people all along the way. Fall in Vermont will always be my favorite, because no where else I’ve been really compares. I’ll be back every year for the rest of my life.

Staying at a log cabin with the ability to explore the National Forest and go shopping in the same day was incredible. This partnership with @vermonttourism and @cabotcheese has helped me experience Vermont in ways I never have before. It’s been a long time since my best friends and I have spent quality time away together, and making cheese eggs, foliage hunting, shopping and ending with a giant Cabot Cheddar taco & nacho feast was an absolute blast. I highly recommend the town of Manchester for some of the best shopping and dining, as well as being minutes from the National Forest. There’s pockets of great foliage here and there, but there’s still plenty of time before it peaks in most areas!

Vermont is my favorite state, and I am honored to be partnering with @vermonttourism and @cabotcheese this fall to show you some of my favorite towns, recipes and foliage spots. For early foliage, I suggest the Green Mountain National Forest in southern Vermont, near Wilmington, as it always seems to turn colors first there. We ended our day camping by the river making butternut squash quesadillas cooked over the fire with Cabot’s Extra Sharp cheddar cheese melting in the middle. There’s no other way I’d rather spend this fall.

A long time dream of mine has finally come true: own a vintage ford in baby blue. His name’s Martin, and I can’t wait to share more of our adventures 🍂
