Sometimes the world is much bigger than what we can imagine. We walked through the Narrows and we spent a lot of time laughing and trying not to fall in. 📷: @rebeccayanyk 📝: @jakechristopherthompson 📍Springdale, Utah 🇺🇸
Found someone who will follow me up a mountain at sunrise with 1,200 foot shear cliffs on both sides of the trial, while fending off killer chipmunks 🐿
Glad you got to experience my favorite lunch spot in Utah 🌏 I 💚 you @jonjontorres15#zionnationalpark

Happy Earth Day! We’re thankful for a beautiful planet that allows us to spark creativity and connect with each other more deeply. 🌎
Throwback to that day we spent by the river in #zion last year. Excited to go back to this beautiful place.

We live for these moments! If we want our children and our children's children to be able to explore these places for generations to come, it's up to us to preserve their beauty. Always remember to leave Mother Nature better than you found her! Make sure to follow @leavenotracecenter for important reminders of how you can make a difference. Happy Earth Day! 🌎 #earthday#leavenotrace#eastzionadventures

Memories from a few weeks ago... feeling very small in the vast Zion National Park 🌲
This walk was up to Angel’s Landing and it was so damn steep I thought I was going to die 😅 we didn’t go all the way to the top of the landing because there was a huge line of people so we continued upwards and were rewarded with the spotting of a huge condor flying above us as well as a small herd of deer 🦌
Who’s been to Zion National Park? ✨

HAPPY EARTH DAY!! 🌎 It’s been a loooong winter here in Denver and we’re so psyched to hit the road again in ONE WEEK!! This time plus two pups 🐾 We’ll be driving through Utah out to California to visit fam with some camping/adventuring along the way. Our way back is unplanned so PLEASE please send suggestions our way for San Diego —> Denver!
Happy Easter from Angels Landing! I’ll be honest — I (Missy) did not make it the last half mile from Scout Lookout to the top, Angels Landing, but Travis did. I watched too many videos that psyched me and my fear of heights out. Regardless, the hike to Scout Lookout and Angels Landing is beautiful but very, very steep; the kind of steep that hurts on the way back down. The first shuttle leaves the Visitor Center at 7am and we were in line at 6:45 — five minutes later and we wouldn’t have made the first shuttle. It’s a 25-minute ride up to The Grotto shuttle stop where you get on the trail. It took us about 45 minutes to get to Scout Lookout and then another 30 minutes for Travis to get up to Angels Landing. Today ended up being the perfect day for the trek, with fewer people and no real lines, even at 9:30 when we made our way down. There was a moment when the sky got dark and we had a few sprinkles that made me nervous for Travis to come down from Angels Landing, but it cleared quickly and was a very comfortable hike back down. To those of you who have thought about doing Angels Landing but are afraid, I can tell you that I regret not attempting it. Next time!
