Should I watermark any photos I upload here? I’d really appreciate your advice! Note - I am not a professional photographer and am just getting started with photography but this question is just in case I snap an absolute worldie of an image 😂
So true story - right at the start of the trip I caught the flu. Traveling while sick has to be one of the worst feelings, and this was my second time getting the flu in a year (2018 has not treated me well, health wise). For me, probably like most people, I just want to be alone in the comfort of my home and bed sleeping the day away...but I couldn’t really do that this time. Thus was a trip of sleepless nights, cold sweat fevers, and a bit of a delirium... 🤪 Not to mention the areas we went were pretty deserted of people (normally my favorite thing), so I was paranoid of having to be airlifted to some hospital should I come dow with any sort of crazy fever attack 😅It sucked to have gotten the flu, but I’m still glad I got to see a bit of Ireland. I would have seen more and did more had it been different, but nonetheless was great to see such a beautiful country with lovely people (fact: the Irish are the nicest!). This pic shows one of the many moments where I could just forget my problems and be amazed about what this world has to offer us.
This is probably the most famous spot along the entire coast. I’ve heard it gets pretty crowded here, but in our case we arrived just 20mins short of closing time and under the worst weather you could possibly imagine. Which actually was lucky because we practically had the whole place to ourselves. It was probably near 0 degrees with over 50mph winds which made the pounding rain feel like rocks being thrown at you. Despite this, I never wanted to leave. ☺️ At least until my hands and feet went numb...
This is way overdue, but back in January I took a weekend trip to Ireland where I drove the southern portion of the Wild Atlantic Way. My only words to describe this route is...brilliantly amazing. Here are some photos of sights along the Kerry Coast.
