Learn to look upon each day with humour, love and beauty. Acquire an aptitude for appreciating life, because gratitude is not so much a virtue as a survival skill. It is often the least privileged who excel in appreciating the smallest of offerings - but it does not have to be this way.

Day 2️⃣2️⃣ of #AYearOfYoga2019 challenge with @cyogalife ➡️ #Bakasana - #Crow Pose.
The pose with enormous teaching with it, whether it’s “patience”, “persistence”, “effort”, “hope”, or even “defeat”. I remember the time when I wanted to achieve this pose so badly. The effort of getting into it, the pain, fear and bruises from attempting in the past were countless.
Those learning can be easily reflected in anything that I want to achieve in life. So, it doesn’t matter how many time one falls, it’s about getting back up and try again, for me that’s all this pose is about. cause trust me, at the end of the day, all those bruises caused by trying to achieve something that we really want are worth it in the end. No effort is ever wasted.
"I don't know how to meditate properly," said my mother. “I just enjoy sitting quietly and emptying my mind."
As I emphasised that this was all there actually is to it, I thought how many people have told me they don't meditate because they feel they can't.
"I can't clear my mind."
"I don't know how.”
"I'm too busy."
We feel there must be more to it. That "meditation", this deep and transcendental gateway to the mysteries of our own soul, must be just as inapproachable as that concept.
Want to know the truth? If at any point you are sitting in quiet contemplation you are meditating. If you take even a few seconds in your day to sit and clear the mind by listening to the breath, you are meditating. You could literally do this on the toilet.
And there are no rules when it comes to meditation. You can listen to music or do it in silence. You can use guided meditations or listen only to your intuition. Part of the joy is discovering how different types of meditation work for you. There is no end 'goal' (the hardest aspect for many modern minds to let go of), as soon as you decide to consciously sit quietly and simply be, you are meditating.
Some people like to meditate on visualisations, on a colour, on connecting with their inner angel/unicorn/spirit animal, by chanting or on nothing but the sound of the breath. When we open the imagination there are no limits. It's also not about how others will perceive your meditation time, it is only on what works for you. Again, our social stigmas can be one of the hardest things to let go of.
There is also no need for equipment or tools. Some find oils, candles, oracle cards or meditation cushions helpful, but none of these things are essential. You are letting go of the physical world as you meditate; there's no need to buy into it first.
Nobody can tell you that you are meditating 'wrong' but yourself. The mind is our last and final sanctuary; meditation is how we deepen our connection with the power and beauty of that mind space.
So let go and just take some time to be in yourself. That's the infinite joy of meditation.

Finding my way back to arm balancing! One week without proper practice and this is the result: stuggle and fall after fall. You know what? I love it, there is no fun without stuggle and continuous falling. Plus I love to do everything with smile and laugher. ❤️
Ps: Look! I’ve got blocks from my dear @sarahticha 🖤

Playtime with my love @sarahticha ❤️🎁
To ask Why we lift? Is to ask why the leafs fall. It is in our nature and it is life, it is yoga and it is fun ❤️
Perhaps there is another question, why do we move? To protect our body, to learn and listen our body, to explore what is not found yet. Movement is the best way towards happiness ❤️ Happy and smiley sunday, my dear insta friends.

Čert pose, teda chair pose 6. pozice adventní výzvy. 👹
Úžasná pozice, která dokáže rozehřát každé stehýnko, v minulosti jsem pozici židle nesnášel a teď? Je to jedna z mých nejoblíbenějších pozic ( kterou moji studenti jógy nesnášejí muhehe 👹😜)
