On the road from Cusco to Machu Picchu we stopped and explored different ruins amongst the farmland and also went white water rafting! Our other stops included visits to alpaca farms, artisan shops, and scenic points ⛰
“Better to see something once than to hear about it a thousand times” ~~~~~ the near-vertical drop and feat of the Incans to secure such a strategic and awe-inspiring location for their civilization made me forget to breathe in the precious moments I had to soak in the landscape⛰
