Nineteen. Last year of being a teenager. For 19 years, I have experienced and learned a lot of things. Met people who left and stayed. Encountered happy moments and hardships. But, I am beyond thankful for everyone, especially to the One Who gave me life and guided me along the way: JESUS.
Though I may still be young for some, I know that there are still a lot of things that I needed to learn in order for me to grow. To grow more and more until I accomplish the purpose that He has called me to do.
Again, thank you for everyone not just for people who loved, stayed, and supported me but also for the ones who brought me down yet made me stronger than ever. I am not mad nor do I feel resentful but because of you, I am who I am right now.
And, because of Him, Who loved me despite my flaws and imperfections, Who used my problems and transformed it into blessings, and Who accepted and saved me from my darkest pit,
I am gradually growing into the kind of woman that I am supposed to be; not because they say so but because this is who I wanted to become out of my love for Christ.
And now for my purpose in life, it is to serve Christ and to love God and love people.
Nineteen. Still such a long journey ahead, but I am not afraid for what it is to come for I know Who is with me and will always be with me. The One who holds the past, present, and future.
To God be all the glory. [Isaiah 41:10 ; 1 Timothy 4:12]
Plus, to end this message with my favorite motto: "When you ask for growth, don't be surprised when it starts raining." 🌧🌱 Happy 19th, self! 💙🎉
