Mom you work A LOT is a phrase that I often hear.
My gut reaction is to feel GUITLY and to apologize for how much I work. But I stopped myself before the words came out of my mouth.
I know I work a lot! I have a full time job and I am building my business so it is a lot of work. But I love what I do and I get to do it from home.
But family time just as important and I don’t want to burn out. So what do we do???? We invite Jacqueline over and make gingerbread houses!
Yes, everything you want in life is going to require hard work! Everything you want in life is going to take time and I believe that whatever you desire for your future you can have as long as you are willing to work for it!
You see... I work incredibly HARD but I am also INCREDIBLY present too!
So don't let perceptions that you might work to hard keep you from pursuing your dreams.
Trust me. YOUR HARD WORK IS PAVING THE WAY FOR THEIR FUTURE! And I'm extremely intentional about making sure we have family time too!

No side by side for #transformationtuesday tonight, but after I taught class tonight I thought about some amazing conversations I’ve had lately with some of you. I want to talk about my mental transformation I fail to celebrate publicly with all of you.
My mental transformation has far outweighed my physical transformation. Sure I am proud of my body and I love how I look and feel, however I could not appreciate my physical changes without the improvements I’ve made with my mindset.
I used to be all or nothing. Either having eating contests or starving myself. Either working out for hours at a time or going on a hiatus. Either watching what I eat or depriving myself of foods I loved. ALL or NOTHING. Can you relate?
So here’s why I want YOU to ditch that way of thinking. Life is NOT all or nothing. You’re going to have events, holidays and parties ALL the time. You are going to have cravings ALL the time. So are you ever going to be able to go ALL IN? Maybe? But if not, that’s OK! You have my permission to go as “all in” as you can.
My days, weeks and months aren’t perfect. I give into my cravings so they don’t get out of control. I eat when I’m hungry even if it’s 11pm. I workout even if all I have is 10 minutes.
The lifestyle I’ve created is no longer ALL or nothing which allows me to never really “fall off the wagon.” If I don’t do something—it’s OK. If I DO eat (fill in the blank)—it’s OK.
It’s my mission to help YOU change your mindset, so you can STOP feeling like your failing or succeeding at this whole “healthy lifestyle.” So when you’re deciding what you’re going “to do” to achieve your health and fitness goals—are you committing to something that is all or nothing?

My new job in a vegan Café does not really help my raw and histamine free diet. Tempting bits and bites everywhere, trying the dishes, cakes and cookies I make. Swellings and puffy eyes have come back, as well as my frustration. More internal problems have been going on also, after only one week 😨
Too many options, too many possibilities and again I am faced with learning to say ‚NO‘ .
Me trying to balance it all, forgetting about my own needs.
