I see something in the fallen leaves, with edges beginning to crumble, that's almost more beautiful than the fresh leaves on a tree. They are bewitching in their imperfection. 🍂🍁 ...& made all the more enchanting by twinkle lights! The Christmas decor is down, but I believe in little fairy lights year round. Don't they look nifty against the canvas?!
Credit - giving it where it is due is so important. By the end of this post, if you LIKE this post, give my wife @lifewithfawn (the artist) a FOLLOW. Without her artwork, I wouldn’t have started this page to push myself out of my comfort zone and post intimate details on a public platform in hopes of inspiring just one person. Without her attention to self care, I would have likely had a hotdog for lunch and supper for 4 straight days and felt really really gross haha. Without her understanding of me, I still wouldn’t understand myself. She sees what I don’t see, so I must give her credit because I’m so thankful for it. Lately at work and in life I’ve seen people work beyond expectations and do great things, yet never get recognized. Credit is given to the managers or higher-ups who presented the work as if it were their own. It’s sad and discouraging to see. A simple “thank you”, “great job”, or passing on the recognition is often all that’s needed to show some appreciation. For those that feel unappreciated, I just want to say thank you for what you do. If it wasn’t for all the people working behind the scenes making their family, workplace, or town a better place, the world would be a much sadder place. Lots goes unrecognized, but it always makes the world a little better one way or another. ▫️
