Pretty standard for a uni student, praying for his first chest hair? ~
Then adult life happened
👎🏻 40+hr weeks
👎🏻 No sport
👎🏻 Random injuries •
I was tired... bored... scared shitless of “getting old” and falling off the wagon
Instead of letting that happen - like a lot of us do
I shifted my beliefs towards performance (not just in the gym, or on the sports field but in all aspects of life) ~
Being fit & healthy had a completely different meaning!
It became about
💪 Training smart and playing hard .
💪 Living a sustainably awesome lifestyle .
💪 Building an athletic body that can achieve whatever the fuck I want!
💪 Connecting, creating change and making impact
As a result
⚡️I’m stronger, more athletic and continue to achieved really cool shit, that I didn’t think was possible!!
⚡️I have no injuries
⚡️I’m surrounded by people who support and challenge me to be a better person
Performance Playground is my way to encompasses all of these beliefs and share it with others.
It’s more that just a gym
It’s a place to create a better life

Winter Holiday Workshops
2nd - 19th July
Our fantastic winter holiday workshop program is here!
These holidays we have a variety of one off workshops in a range of media including painting, drawing, watercolour, mixed media, encaustic, aluminium etching, ceramics and jewellery etching.
High School visual arts students will love our HSC Art Theory workshop.
And kids will have plenty to do with workshops in T-shirt and bag design, ceramics and drama.
We are now taking enrolments online and in the office 02 9958 6540.
Open 1pm - 1.30pm Saturday, 38 Glover Street, Willoughby delivers substantial Californian Bungalow with exceptional and extremely versatile layout. This partner work allows us to help extend the t-spine (upperback) and open the shoulders while also allowing us to use our breath & gravity to get a big opening from the anterior chain (front of the body) which is vital for back bridge 🤙 **Note to coaches (and anybody looking to implement new patterns): As we ramp up our work on any projects it's important to embrace & respect everybody is different (structures, tissue quality, coordination, strength, confidence) which is why always start with educating & layering progressions to create more awareness so we can understand the principles & apply it to a process appropriate to that individual 👌

Here's a very mum #lifehack I pretty much always do - take a photo of a sign near where I've parked my car so I don't forget where I've put it.
Needless to say - I learnt to do this the hard way and you DON'T want to lose your car when you're on a mission with 3 kids.
And for those of you who are like "pfft, I never lose my car", well that's nice. Sounds like you have some spare mental space for babysitting.
Me? I just spent about 5 hour answering a 4 year olds incessant questions about sharks.
Now, why do sharks eat people?
Because they taste good!

Oh what a journey it's been! I still remember my 1st session at the @performance_playground , meeting the team, hanging upside down and putting in some real hard work 👊...I was hooked!
Over the next 8 weeks, I looked forward to each session driven by the ultimate goal of one day getting above those rings 🤸
One thing I really noticed was how well each session was planned out. Each movement, exercise, technique, position, cue and explanation served a specific purpose An effective methodical approach that brought me to the 8th week of the program and final week in Sydney before moving to Orange. I got so dam close but just couldn't transition through (as seen in the 2nd video 😂)
Fast forward just over a year and here is my progress, continuing to refine the muscle up with the 3 sec rule(holding each position for 3 secs) . .
I just gotto say how much I've enjoyed the journey. Training with at the Performance .
Playground has allowed me to pick up so many skills, connect with some awesome people and most importantly make some huge gainz 😏💪 I couldn't recommend this system highly enough 👍 #muscleup#performanceplayground#strength#rings#exercisephysiologist#crossfit#trusttheprocess#gainztrain

Sunny Sunday Bruch @theincinerator cafe Willoughby. There is a wonderful brunch menu with choices for everyone from classic breakfast dishes to burgers and a childrens menu. the outdoor seating was very popular and just such a beautiful way to spend a send morning!
We had the green breakfast bowl, bacon and egg breafast burger and the most amazing Frech toast - Delicious!
I'm pretty lucky to have had some amazing adventures. Makes these house arrest days that much easier to deal with...!
To the young-uns who are debating traveling - TRAVEL! You never know when you'll be able to do it again!
