Do you take the river that is smoothest course? Or take the rough path down the river? Because much like life we have to go through rough times along the way. A river is always changing. You can’t step in the same one twice. A river is always changing, always flowing. There is no smooth course the whole way. It’s bound to have rough spots but it’s all about going through it and pushing through to know what’s at the end of it all. Take a chance 🏞
A short hike out from the Kipahulu visitors center in Haleakala National Park took us through a serene bamboo forest. The bamboo towered over the trail, at times dense enough to only allow a small amount of sunlight to filter through.
Just passed through Innsbruck on the way to the Dolomites. Didn’t have nearly enough time to explore the city but the first impression was great. Will definitely try to make it back here at some point to spend more time.
Dettifoss, only 44 meters high but 100 meters wide, is known to be the most powerfull waterfall in Europe. You probably already saw it from movies (for example : prometheus). Dettifoss is served by Road 862 its west side (you will be up, on the black cliffs that you see on the picture), or by Road 864, only passable during summer, where you can stand on the rocks where i've sit on the image (but this road is a bit harder to drive, i would recommend 4x4 eventho i saw some basic cars). Be ready to drive a lot, because it's 1h30 from the main road.
What i will always remember was the water bubbles that were spreading on my face, 1 km from the waterfall. And when you standing in front of it, having your clothes 100% wet is a matter of seconds ! 🌏
Would you jump ?
Capture from our recent mission trip into Swaziland (otherwise known as the Kingdom of eSwatini) 🇸🇿 Did you know 🧐 Swaziland is the smallest country in Africa and it is one of the world’s last remaining absolute monarchies.

• My brother and I once walked through that forest at the bottom, but the sun started to go down and it got dark reallllly fast. The walk quickly went from ‘ooh this is cool’ to ‘oh fuck how do we get out’. •
Cliffside sunsets, good food, and the best of friends are life-giving in a special way. I Haven't had enough of that in my life lately. Truthfully, I've been in a bit of a low spot, both creatively and with life in general. I'm trying to keep my focus, and prioritize the things that I'm passionate about, but it's a struggle sometimes. I'm feeling pretty burnt out, but I guess I just gotta wait for the right spark. Probably gonna be less active on here for a bit as I'm figuring things out. Thanks for your constant support guys. Your comments, messages, etc, mean more than you know.
Just imagine back in the 1950’s when Vance Creek Bridge had freighters thundering across, carrying that fresh cut lumber. Gosh what a site that would be!

The sun combined with fog can create some magical moments. Unfortunately, they often do not last long.
Looking forward to hopefully seeing some snow outside my windows next month. Last year on Christmas day I woke up, took a look outside my window, and the trees and path way were blanketed with fresh snow, my Christmas spirit went from 99 to 100 real quick 😂.
