Thanks for the cool pic @noevo16 📸 such a fun day climbing in the sunshine with a group that started out as mostly strangers who quickly became friends! Climbing is cool, is it the weekend yet? I can’t wait to come back

Fun couple of hours today at the beach with Bucey. Got to give him some exercise and some fresh ocean air and I got to have fun with the camera 📷
Honestly, I don't do enough sunset 🌅(or sunrise at all) hike in Hong Kong.
Who else finds it difficult to get up early to explore their own city 🌃 ?
Then and again my transportation 🚌 🚂 options are basically non-existent between midnight and 6am, so that definitely rules out sunrise 🌅 !
It's been a while since we've done an introduction post on here, and we've seen some new faces around, so we figured we'd say "Hi!". We're Lily and John, and we founded Pac Back when we were in college because we wanted a comfortable place to sit while backpacking! We love to play cribbage and we were tired of sore bums and backs. We designed the Trio to be able to be used in the tent as well as outside of it 😁. That way, when it rained ( as it almost always does in the Pnw) we could still play cards in our cozy little tent ⛺ When we are not working on Pac Back, we are working at our full time jobs, planning our wedding, or remodeling our house 😂 this has left us with not as much time to explore as we would like, but we're committed to adventuring a lot this summer! Is anyone else jonesing for some summer campfires right about now? 🔥
Watching the mist roll in, surround me, engulf me. Covered briefly in its seemingly impending doom yet unveiling something new, a beginning, from an end, a cycle. The merry dance of the universe, with energy and magic swirling and twirling in a never ending celebration of life. Letting the fear fall off me, change is just a transition and evidence that I’m truly alive. #tasmania#bloodmoon#earthgirladventures#naturefrother
Took some time off to reconnect with nature, and spent this past week exploring and doing what I love, while falling in love with my home all over again.
Yesterday mother nature decided to bless us with the most perfect day. Not much beats a perfectly clear, sunny, 60 degree day mid January 🌞
Let’s take our hearts for a walk by the salt lake and listen to the magical whisper of bamboos and tall grass swaying softly in the wind…
This weekend was just one of those magical and unforgettable moments where I got to go for a lovely walk by a salt lake. A salt lake that did not disappoint in terms of wildlife and beautiful scenery. In my latest blogpost you’ll read about my latest adventure to Larnaka Salt Lake and my close encounter with flocks of graceful pink flamingos. An encounter I shall never forget.
I don’t know if yesterday’s #LunarEclipse caused today’s #SnowStorm but I’m LOVING it! ❄️ 👀 💕 Of course I’m in the comfort of my office buuuuuuut looking outside and seeing snow falling from the sky will *never* stop feeling magical to me!
What about you? Do you love snow or nah?
(Pic taken on Sat 🙃).

Stepping into this week with a full heart. Last week was one of the best weeks of my life! Even though life can get stressful and difficult at times, having the best partner in the world and the best group of friends makes the hard times not so bad. I know I have said before that moving out to Colorado has been one of my best decisions, but it keeps proving to be true time after time
Every mermaid needs a critter sidekick!
Furry hiking buddies make everything better.😍 Who out there hikes with furry friends?

Today I said NO.
Sometimes the hardest thing in the world to do is say no. Saying no to people who ask for your help, saying no to activities you’ve been invited to, or even saying no to anything that requires more energy than you can honestly give. The mere thought of refusing usually throws me into a spiral of guilt and fear at what the consequences might be... will they still like me? Will I be kicked out of the tribe? Will I be seen as a horrible person?? Most of the time people don’t give a dam! They’d rather have your whole hearted energy than you only showing up from a place of guilt.
Love yourself enough to say no to others! A sincere desire to give of service is wonderful. However there’s a distinction between giving of yourself and giving up of yourself. If you feel tired, resentful or guilty that energy will be injected into whatever you’re doing.
Today I said no... and instead I took time for myself enjoying the simple pleasures in life! A bath and some meditation. I then helped later when I was filled up with enough energy to give from a place of love not lack. As day 8 of the #pleasureresolution I challenge you to honour your energy today and only say yes to things full heartedly. Be daring and take 30 minutes for yourself revelling in the simple pleasures of life! Take a bath, read a book, walk outside, dance but just switch off and tune inwards.

Walking into 2️⃣0️⃣1️⃣9️⃣ like 🤷🏻♀️. I just want to enjoy life and do the things I love. 2018 was an amazing year for me. I’m coming up on a year of operating an amazing restaurant my family and I bought a year ago, went on countless breathtaking hikes all around California and Utah, completed the @sixpackofpeaks Challenge, set out on memorable backpacking trips in the Eastern Sierra, and started rock climbing. I am truly happy with what I’ve accomplished in 2018, and I’m looking forward to an even better 2019.
Sometimes you have to let go of the image that you thought your life would be like and learn to find joy in the story you are actually living. 🌸
2018 was a year full of recovery and establishment. I am proud of myself for everything I have accomplished this year. I am thankful for the opportunities I have been given and for the people around me. Attached are some of my favorite photos/posts from earlier this year and above is my favorite saying that I lived by. I found out a lot about myself this year, connected with old friends and made new ones, and found love. I feel people walk in and out of your life for a reason and 2018 was full of surprises.
Excited to see what 2019 brings and for some new adventures in cabin living🏕
