**New Vlog** Come watch Blair’s adventure in the Okanagan during the last weekend, when he went and met Mike and Amy @worldschooled, the previous owners of Tortuga and pick it up... Got a little issue with the engine after picking it up, but the #Vanagon community is so awesome, Mike was super helpful and made sure Tortuga was in perfect shape to hit the road!👉Link in bio to watch the full video. ❤️
New stickers for a new summer🤙 Stoked be going down to #vansinthevalley again this weekend with my vw inspired designs. These new stickers from @stickermule are pretty sweet. Big thanks to @jeffreystiner and Jessica Stiner with @wisewestyautoparts for letting me design the logo for this year's event!
Anyone else gonna be there?

“It’s important to appreciate the good times when they are happening.” I’m getting better at that...
OMG guys...Blair just calculated the mileage of this new van from the trip home. Ready for this?! 9.5L/100km!! That's almost half of what he was getting with the old van... And that's going top speed over mountains with a pretty intense headwind! Amazing!! Loving this diesel engine so much! AND we can eventually convert it to bio-diesel for a greener footprint...💙🚐

A few weeks ago we met up with @jarettjuarez at his home in Oregon. Jarett was nearing the completion of a total restoration of his van “Roxy” when we rolled up to the garage and met in person for the very first time (despite having followed each other’s adventures for years now here on @instagram)...
Jarett was in the middle of finishing up some wiring on Roxy, so we set up camp right outside the shop and started cookin’ dinner. Over a lovely Italian meal (thanks Michelle) and a cold Pelican beer (thanks Jarett) we sat and shared stories from the road with each other well into the night. It honestly felt like we had already been friends for years and where just catching up for lost time...
The next day we set out on a little adventure of our own, first driving up into the mountains along some local forest roads, then heading down towards the coast to surf one of Jarett’s local spots (which also happened to be my very first time ever surfing in Oregon). It was a pretty incredible day and we wished we could have hung out with Jarett longer, but sadly we had to part ways after our surf session in order to link back up with @vanagonlife for our center console install...
So when Jarett sent us this beautiful video of our little drive up into the woods, Michelle and I where super pumped to have something to remember our time with him by ... Social media is a funny thing - so much of it I absolutely hate, but it’s meetings like this that remind me of how lucky we are to have such a powerful tool at our disposal. Feeling super grateful to have had this experience and can’t wait to link back up with Jarett again one day soon!

WE GOT A NEW VAN!!! 🤩🎉✨ Yup you read correctly...it happened so fast. But we had to.
We realized that it was necessary to have a high top for our big trip since we want to travel with our music instruments. And as much as we love O’Reilly (the silver vanagon seen previously in our profile), there would have been so much upgrade expenses needed in order to have it perfectly practical for our intentions.
So we jumped on the opportunity when we saw this ad of Tortuga the ‘83 vanagon! High top, little kitchen installed, and solar panel! Plus, it’s a Diesel engine so we will save a lot in fuel on the long run. More details to come. For now, just admire this beauty, we’re in love with it and SOOO excited to work on it and make it our own little nest on wheels!! 🥰😍🚐

The region of Brittany (Bretagne) feels quite different from the rest of France. Many Celtic Britons settled here after the fall of the Roman Empire, and their influence can be seen in the architecture and signage throughout the region.
Most people in Brittany speak French, but they have other traditional languages. The main one is Breton, which is related to Cornish and Welsh. Another is Gallo, which is a regional Romance language. We notice that the French accent here is kind of like the Québécois accent in Canada - it’s neat to hear it spoken across the pond.
In the food world, Brittany is famous for butter biscuits, crêpes, and galettes (savoury buckwheat crêpes). It seems that every town has at least one crêperie and a biscuiterie. The locally-produced drink is cider (as opposed to wine), and there are lots of craft beers made in the region.
Brittany really has a lot to offer and is quite picturesque. The stone village of Locronan is full of character and was voted as one of the most beautiful villages in France (“Plus Beaux Villages de France”).
