Not a bad way to kick off the winter season or to spend a day off work with my bestest adventure buddy!
On Thursday night we drove from Wales to the North Face car park 😴 and in the morning, made my first foray up Ben Nevis via perfect neve in No.3 Gully.
This was my first 'route' of the season, first hot aches of the season 🤢, first time up Ben Nevis and first proper test of my new Rab synthetic jacket (thanks @samhockley_ it's ace!) More days like this please!

Throwback to 2016 when I went with my Dad to the High Uintas on an ecological expedition for about a week.
It was so remote we had to ride in on horseback and had an outfitter, a true blue cowboy from Wyoming by the name of Ken Bone, who carried in all our supplies by mule train. We didn't pack any water except a single water bottle each, and we'd fill them up daily at a natural spring.
We camped at Dead Man Lake and hiked up and around the surrounding ridgelines performing our studies.
Give the designated snow shoveler in your life a gift they will truly appreciate: Insulated, cold-weather shoes. Kirkham's Outdoor Products, Salt Lake's local outdoor retailer, offers winter footwear for snowshoeing, hiking, and walking as well as ice cleats for additional stability on ice.
Big Seal Kisses💋😘😍😅
One of my girlfriends @em_beth_shep was lucky enough to swim with this cutie snorkling around Lancelin! Who remembers the first time they saw a seal in the wild? If you haven't yet, they frequent Lancelin jetty in the mornings and evenings so book yourself a Lancelin getaway! 🌟

Beautiful turquoise waters of Little Wharton Beach 🏖
Only 45 mins south of Lucky Bay - no wonder it’s so pristine 🙌🏼
Even though every time we come here it’s a little windy- it’s still up there on mum’s top beaches list 😉

Life can get pretty complicated and cluttered. Take some time for yourself to appreciate a simple moment away from it all. Like going to the beach, throwing down your tool bag, ripping off the hi-vi, and laying down next to a stranger’s camera to sleep. Seriously dude, I hope you’re okay. You looked like you had a DAY.

#Perth has got so much to offer ♥️
If you are looking at your next adventure consider Western Australia 🇦🇺
I enjoy the wild things,
Wake me up early for sunrise shoots. Give me sunsets in different cities and road trips on dirt tracks not sighted on maps.
White sand between our toes and that feeling that everybody knows 💏
Give me happiness in a smile and nothing of certainty but the way we make eachother feel. .
There’s so much life in living while you're alive & id give absolutely anything to have it all with you.

We've told you all about many of the good times we have had on the road but we want to keep it real, so here's a list of some of our greatest challenges and worst times we have faced while travelling 😓
🔸Adelaide's worst storm in 60 years hit us with golf ball sized hail while we were camped in the flinders ranges
🔸 The storm left all of the towns around us without power for 2 weeks, meaning we could not get fuel or fresh food🔸We broke our trailer suspension on the Oodnadatta track in the middle of nowhere and had to wait 24 hours for a tow truck to save our sorry asses 🔸Pumba turned red from red dirt and remained this way for 4 weeks while we made our way thru the red centre 🔸4 separate bee stinging incidents 🔸All of our bedding went mouldy while we worked in Ceduna for a month 🔸Jamie has snapped 4 fishing rods 🔸We tried for a whole month to get some work around Margaret River, but failed 🔸We thought we were going to be murdered in a forest near Margaret River 🔸Jamie was bitten by a snake on Warroora station and had an RFDS flight to the nearest town which was 3 hours away 🔸We crashed our 1 week old drone into water near Port Hedland 🔸We were stressed the whole time driving through the Kimberley that the car would break down and cost us $5000 in towing fees alone 🔸We arrived into Darwin with $400 to our name and no jobs lined up🔸We slept in our tent in 33 degrees at night in super humidity 🔸Our 12v fridge and solar setup couldn't handle the heat and cloudy days in Darwin so we had to upgrade it all 🔸We drove 3 hours into Kakadu only to find out that the park was closed due to a rogue buffalo 🔸Jamie went swimming to get his lucky fishing lure in Kakadu only to have a croc swim past once he got out of the water🔸Pumba lost most of his fur due to the heat in the top end and cost us a lot in vet bills 🔸We bought a tank of fuel for $3 per litre on Lorella Springs because we had no choice 🔸We struggled to find dog friendly low cost camping on the east coast.
And would you believe we plan to do it all again in 2 months time. It's all about the adventure, the good times and the bad ✌️
