I especially love that once the ceremony is over, the bride and groom are able to relax knowing that they are now officially husband and wife.
After the ceremony I took them away from all of their friends and family where they were able to reflect on the ceremony and take a few moments for themselves.
This led to a lot of pulling faces and cheekiness. But this photo clearly shows the enjoyment they had in that moment. I simply love being able to capture memories like this as a photographer. And it’s even more precious when you are capturing the events of a special day like a wedding.
Do you remember those first moments you had as husband and wife alone with your photographer?

Sometimes you just can't enough of something. We can't get enough of Briana + Stephen. They were featured on the pages of Dauphine Magazine, readers saw how they brought the greenery of the outside in for their reception in Baillie Court. Here in Galleria Italia, the outside permeates the interior space through the soaring arching glass wall, bathing them in ethereal light. It doesn't get much better than that.

Those few moments between mother + daughter before the wedding ceremony, those are some of the best 💞
I can especially see so much love and emotion in their hands. The life that they have shared together is about to pivot and a new chapter of their relationship will begin. It's special and deep and such a blessing for me to be the one other person in the room for moments like this.
I think, the getting ready pictures and the photos of the ceremony are the most emotional captured moments of the day. The mood is so relaxed and at the same time excited, as at hardly any other time of the day.
I love to photograph the transformation to the bride or groom.
It's very special every time and while I'm writing this, I feel it again.
A photo is a time machine😊
