The relationship between religion and LGBT people (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) can vary greatly across time and place, within and between different religions and sects, and regarding different forms of homosexuality, bisexuality, and transgender identity.
Buddhism and sexual orientation varies by tradition and teacher. According to the Early Buddhist scriptures, there is no any saying that same or opposite gender relations have anything to do with sexual misconduct, and some Theravada monks express that same-gender relations do not violate the rule to avoid sexual misconduct, which means not having sex with someone under age (thus protected by their parents or guardians), someone betrothed or married and who have taken vows of religious celibacy.

Learn the love languages! I once had a long term partner I shared a home and a life with. I would remember getting up a bit early to cook a traditional Venezuelan breakfast for her. The black coffee was on drip as I hand whisked the milk on low heat until it had just enough foam to create the perfect “cafe con leche.” The arepas looked like this. I hand made them the old fashioned way before the “arepas maker” was a thing. To my surprise, my effort ###### her off. She said that the sounds of pots in the kitchen and the music I was listening to made her mad as hell. Above I have chopped tomatoes with avocado and a slice of Swiss. I combined Indian spices like cumin with the traditional Venezuelan love. The fresh garlic (always fresh) with the balsamic vinegar and olive oil totally makes your stomach sing! The fusion works!
Moral of the story: learn each other’s love languages because the amount of love you give will never be heard by someone who can’t speak the same language:) Wherever you are “J”, I hope you found someone that speaks to your heart. Cause it clearly wasn’t me 😂. #wearetravelgays#lovelanguages#finallyelainecom#arepasarelife#notmeanttobe#theexfromhell#lettinggo#5lovelanguages#imovedon#lifeisbetternow#byefelicia
