There are some down sides to social media for sure, but there are some upsides too. @megsausted and I met Jenny through the photog community on @instagram and here were are, all the way across the Atlantic Ocean, meeting up, her gracing us with her gifts. What a world we live in!!!
Into the West.
When you start a journey, things may not run smooth, but you have a plan, you carry on, sometimes, just to go south or north.
The destination may change, your day may be full of moments or may seem like a day in eternal punishment.
It's what you make it, you choose to go into the light or to stay in darkness.
Like a blind person walking down a busy pedestrian street, cappuccino in one hand walking stick in the other.
They simply go forth unafraid, I would be terrified, it took me a long time to learn to rollerblade backwards, the rear of not knowing where your going, accepting that is freeing.
I think in some ways the blind may be more free in this image driven world.
My respect to those who make music also as it's etherial and has the capacity to be dreadful and beautiful at the same time.
We walk, dance, cycle, drive through life with such capacity for failure, but yet with practice we succeed, we continue to exist.
I am grateful for these quiet moments when I can sit drink a mocha and write a little and just exist.
Outdoors in the light, in a state of appreciation.
Another angle from the Cottage in the Black Valley the morning of the fog! I had only planned on driving as far as the Gap that morning but I had to go further just in case I missed something! To be fair I could have gone home there wasn’t much fog left when I got there! 😂
