A slow, relaxed and a beautiful encounter.
Posting this image is bittersweet because of the current shark culling taking place in Queensland. A shark of this size would have been labelled a ‘monster’ and killed if found in many other parts of Australia.
Large apex predators should be celebrated as an indicator of ocean health and not hunted down out of fear. What are your thoughts?

The QLD government's shark control program kills target shark species when they are caught either on drumlines or in shark nets. Apex Harmony recently patrolled near Bundaberg and found a Tiger Shark suffering its slow and painful fate. Read more on our facebook page.
