Little bit of drownproofing/water confidence training with the boys. Hands tied behind your back, feet tied together. Touch the bottom, come back up, repeat for as long as you can. • • • •
Those giggles and smiles fill our hearts! ❤️ at Lozswim we build confidence by having fun. Two weeks ago these two didn’t even want to get in, look at them now enjoying their lesson! Who doesn’t love a shower ☔️☺️🙌🏼
I have had a particularly tough week with my 2 year old. The tantrums have been severe and I have had a hard time dealing with them. It’s important though to be patient when our kids push the boundaries no matter how hard it is. Being in touch with your children’s emotions allows them to explore them as they learn about feelings. It also helps them to learn how to calm themselves and show compassion and understanding as they model behavior from us. It also shows our kids that we trust and respect them. .
Even though my daughter’s current mood swings make me want to run away sometimes they are all forgotten when she offers me a random kiss at the end of it all 😄
Have a wonderful weekend everyone <3

Big shout out to our Marriott Baby Level 5 turtles for their fantastic assisted woggle swimming this morning! Keep up the great work 👏🏻
Underwater training is regenerative / restorative in nature. Less load bearing on the body for those that push it all week in the gym or have injuries. Mental focus is a key factor in the training, sometimes more than physical. Maintaining a focus : song in your head, counting numbers, focusing on an object underwater, etc. is what allows the mental and physical relaxation to kick in (feeling like a second-wind) or breathing “flow state” to occur. #watersurvival#waterconfidence#utlnation@deependfitness@sklz@sofletehq@usdheroclub
