"My humanity is bound up in yours, for we can only be human together." -Desmond Tutu
Tutu's words ring extra true tonight, surrounded by divisive politics and a nativist perspective of "us" and "them" that seems to wholly lack in trust, compassion, or belief in synergistic existence with the people around us. "Ubuntu....the essence of being human...gentleness, hospitality, putting yourself out on behalf of others..." We need to instill these values more strongly in society if we want it to become more compassionate, and that can only happen if we lead by example. Pay attention to the strangers you pass tomorrow. Look them in the eye, recognize their humanity and individuality, don't just cross their path. I'm going to try to do that, at least.
I took this photo on a popular overlook on the Blue Ridge parkway. Sitting on a rock with my camera and watching a peaceful sunset, a blur of humanity surrounded me - an engagement photo shoot, a group of college kids working hard to get the perfect 'gram, a family of three who drove up after dinner, a steady stream of cars pulling over nearby for just a minute or two, a few other people perched on the cliffs watching the sun slowly fall. But despite the relative crowd, interactions were mostly positive. A woman asked before walking in front of my camera. A man moved on request to let me get a particular shot when the lighting was perfect. A couple politely requested that I snap some photos of them. I generally seek wilderness for solitude, beauty, and contemplation, but the presence of pleasant humanity added something special and unexpected to that evening.
We have the power to be that pleasant interaction with a stranger for someone else. Every day, every interaction, we have the power to restore someone's faith in humanity, or erase it.
We can't be human in isolation. Let's choose to be human together.

I've been in this situation so many times I sometimes still feel like I'm in this situation.
Best advice I can give is:
It's okay to not know everything and have it all together as long as you don't give up.
It's nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed about. We all go through our own versions of tough situations.
It's how you handle the situation and survive them that define who you are. 💡
Did you know it SNOWS at the GRAND CANYON? 🌫 ❄
This was my first time going to Grand Canyon and little did I know that it snows at the Grand Canyon. Unfortunately we had to cancel our plane charter to see one of the world's spectacular.

We took a ferry from Manly beach to the circular quay and got this beautiful view of Sydney’s Opera House 🇦🇺
Most people still haven’t figured out who they are so how could they figure out what you want?
Take some time and reflect in order to gain clarity in your life.
If not, you’ll end up going in this endless circle of unfulfillment 🐺

There are many places I can escape from this uncertain world, but by far, one of my favorites is scuba diving, as it enables me to experience such a calm and tranquil freedom like no other.
Vai chegar a hora em que todas elas estarão abertas.

Flashes of congested Goan streets, sleepless binge drinking nights, salty tropical air, superenergetic vibes from a crowd of three hundred thousand jumping together to the sick bass drops, hilarious placards and glimpses of the Arabian Sea from the Vagator Hilltop.
The PLUR-fect way to get Sunburnt! We were totally obsessed with EDM Festivals, back then!

Four summers ago I threw caution into the wind and decided to go to a conference for “that coaching thing” I was kind of a part of.
I had no idea it would change the trajectory of my life ✨
There are a lot of people out there that have joined MLM or direct sales companies. Beachbody perfectly aligned with my life and goals because I used the products, loved the workouts and genuinely wanted other people to try them too. It was an added bonus that I have earned a substantial amount of money, earned tropical vacations and made some of the best friends I could ask for.
Excited to join my Team this year in Indianapolis and celebrate another year of success. See y’all soon! ✈️

It’s been three years since I’ve had Pizza da Michele! AKA the day I fell in love with Napoli 😍😋 The classic margherita from this restaurant is the definition of less is more. Without tons of toppings you can really appreciate the taste of the quality ingredients. #pizzeriadamichele#napoli#italia#pizzaislife#foodphotography
