Tikarohia te marama, seek out that which is important.
As we become busier and busier each day, we often lose our sense of purpose and direction.
One of the many things we love about sharing Maramataka (Māori lunar calendar) is acknowledging that there is time for everything including rest, reflection and restoration.
It’s important to make time for resting and as we continue to appreciate and practice this mātauranga (knowledge) of our tīpuna (ancestors) we have included it as part of planning our day, our week heck even our year! It doesn’t have to be big and infact can be simple in its application but as always, the trick is doing it!
What do you do to rest and restore?
