We see the theme of patience and waiting in the bible from Genesis through to Revelation.
All of creation is waiting with baited breath for the manifestation of the sons and daughters of God.
James 1:4 says “But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.”
James 1:4 NKJV.
This verse is simple but so defining. Having and exercising patience perfects us to be complete.
I hope as you read this, what ever prayer(s) you are waiting for the Lord to answer, you will rest in his presence patiently. For He is worth the wait.
Work ethic > Talents/skills/abilities
“Your career is like a ladder. When you start you have to have a wide base. Learn what you can about everything. As you climb to the top, you begin to narrow down. Find what makes you passionate and then learn as much as you can. As you grow you will and need to pick one area that you choose to be the best in to get to the top.” -Me

Today’s alphabet devotions letter is W for Waiting!
Which is really fitting since I’m a day late on this post! Oops!! Sometimes the hardest part about following Christ is waiting for answers about what is meant to be and where you’re meant to go. It’s hard to be patient when we don’t see anything happening. It’s hard to recognize God’s plan for us when we’re too focused l on ourselves and our own desires. We are living in a time where we expect everything to happen immediately, we want everything our way, Right Now! And when that doesn't happen we think God is slamming a big fat No in our faces. But just because you’re not getting what you want doesn't mean God's not giving you what you need, and just because things aren't happening right now doesn't mean they're not a part of God’s plan for you in the future.
It can be hard waiting to find out what God’s plan is for you, it can be discouraging and frustrating to not know what God has in store for you. But Just Wait... God has a plan, and His timing is perfect! "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." -Jeremiah 29:11
