I took my cousin to the hills. You see, he is of the concrete jungle. He was confused with the sights of trees and green grass; the woodland animals that passed- all worked to create sounds and smells that were strange to my cousin from the city.
His territory is the confines of the narrow streets and alleys of London; oh he would see! At one point he sighed: "I miss seeing buildings, please, oh please help me!" We discovered a woolly hat hanging from a scarce tree branch. This spun him into visions of disasters: mauled by a bear, buried underneath a sudden avalanche? But he was sure the hat belonged to a soul that withered away on a walk such as ours. He need not have feared a fate such as hers for I was there.
The whole episode was comical. He acted as if lost in the outback, posting videos of himself with a frightful face, he was soon to become a maniac! And to watch him run behind me as dogs ran freely. Hilarious this cousin of mine, from the big mean streets- I laughed and laughed in spades of glee.
But once we were at the top, a witness to a staggering view- there were no words or sounds. Our world came to a crashing, halting, jolting stop. No laughs or comical moments. No more grumbles, running, moaning or fuss. Just God's beauty, rolled out for miles, all around us.

Climate Tip: Next time you decide to eat take-out instead of the leftovers from last night's dinner, consider this: One-third of the food produced worldwide, 40 percent in the United States, isn't consumed. That wasted food drives roughly 8 percent of greenhouse gas emissions. The problem is in large part because of grocery store standards and food being deemed "too ugly" to sell. But individuals can play their part and avoid throwing out food by shopping smarter, planning ahead, donating unwanted foods and reading "sell by" dates as a guideline rather than a hard rule. If you just need a good cry, you should Google photos of food waste. It's really, really shocking. by clarionledger.con 💚

Canoe feel the adventure vibes? When we headed out to this place called Spirit Island we didn’t really know what awaited us. But after paddling through the fog for 4 hours we knew it was worth it. Apparently @frauki could not get enough and went for an extra lap.
