HAHA! I did a commercial break. Still a ways from voice coaching and having this done by a professional. Also, I'm getting way more used to my sound editing software. Every day I'm learning something new.
For years now, I've wanted to get my feet wet, and gain some experience in the world of voice acting. VO work has always been a dream career of mine; I was just never quite sure how to get my foot in the door and get started!
Recently, I was able to do just that, and dive into the amazing world of voice acting! Over the course of the last month, I completed Richard Horvitz's (Zim in Invader Zim, Billy in the Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, Daggett in Angry Beavers, etc.) Six Week Beginner VO Workshop!
I had a tremendous amount of fun with my fellow classmates over these six weeks - getting hands on and doing takes in the booth, learning to break down script/story, getting advice and pointers from Richard, and playing pretend as my characters I was given!
I cannot speak highly enough of Richard Horvitz and his classes, and I am looking forward to more VO opportunities in the near future! 🗣️🎙️📸
