First of all - a great big HUGE hello to all my new Instagram friends! I ❤️ that you “get” me, and that you also enjoy this wiiiiiiidddddde view of the world through my eyes.
I’m like a little kid lost in a big place that never ceases to amaze me with its big picture beauty. A little kid.besotted. and in ❤️
with this 🅷🆄🅶🅴 / HUGE 🌎🌍🌏 of ours.
Which brings me to an interesting point…
What started out for me recently as a push to gain new followers and grow my account with professional intent, has mutated into a new and more personal sense of wonder as I’ve been experiencing the world through the lens of your eye.
I’m gaining a glimpse into so many lives and so many spaces - and seeing a multitude of creative, beautiful and interesting pictures that I could never live enough lifetimes to physically capture by myself.
And it’s beautiful.
Beautiful to see so much talent - make no mistake, there’s a lot of great folks out there - but it’s also beautiful to just experience the pure curiosity and wonder, the variety of interests and activities, and above all, to experience the creativity in all of us - as we’re all shooting and sharing with each other.
A great BIG, HUGE welcome to you if you’ve recently joined, with much ❤️ from South Africa.
And if you’re local, then it’s with much ❤️ from just “over the berg”.

The Franchhoek Country House and Villas are an amazing place to stay when visiting South Africas wine region. The french style villas feature luxurious finishings and warmly lit rooms that ooze European elegance. Situated right in the heart of Franchhoek and only a short drive from Stellenbosch, it's the ideal place to stay.
I hope you look this cool all of the public holiday tomorrow 😎 Today marks #YouthDay in SA - a reminder that the youth have power and we they are our future. Their fire needs to be kindled because it can fuel change and inspire a nation 🇿🇦 Thank you @mrfonds for looking so cool in front of my camera 😍 If you’re in Joburg go check out his clothing store and you could look this cool too 😉

What a wonderful moment at the @mhondorosafarilodgeandvilla , South Africa. Being an elephant is thirsty work. An adult elephant can nearly drink a bathtub full of water per day. 🐘
Happy #FathersDay ! 🐘 This beautiful scene was caught on camera by photographer @howard.cleland at Shingwedzi Rest Camp within Kruger National Park; an area often considered to by prime elephant country, where often large herds can be found. #MeetSouthAfrica
No your eyes aren't deceiving you, that IS an enormous sunfish spotted whilst paddling the waters off Cape Town by @atlanticoutlook. 🐟😲 Did you know the sunfish is one of the heaviest known bony fishes in the world weighing up to 1,000KG?! (That's about 1.5 times as heavy as an adult cow!) #MeetSouthAfrica

You don't mess with the Honey Badger, even when you are a Big Cat! 😮🦁Despite being just 25cm high, these fearless and highly intelligent creatures are known as being one of the most ferocious animals in Africa. Credit: Game Drive Channel #MeetSouthAfrica
