I keep feeling down about the fact I have no plans to get on a plane anytime soon, and I try to remind myself that I live in a country - and near a city - that people travel from all over the world to visit.
While I definitely have some European destinations in mind for when I first decide to use some annual leave, I want to use the next few months to fall in love with being a tourist in my own country. I have the whole of London on (or at least near) my doorstep, and my new little car and I could do some great day trips around the south east!
Whether you’ve visited England, or you live here like me, what have been some of your favourite destinations and attractions in the UK? Even if you’ve never stepped foot in this country, what places would you most like to see? 🇬🇧💕
(You can tell this picture is old as Big Ben isn’t concealed behind a load of ugly scaffolding!!)

The Laughing Cavalier is up to no good and clearly is playing a prank on these well-meaning tourists. 🖼

We have so much brilliant art on our doorstep in East London, love the Flower Sellers sculpture (currently getting some TLC and undergoing renovation) in London Fields. The sculpture was made in 1986, by a group of local artists called Freeform Arts Trust, who specialised in public art.
