"A stable population makes families prosperous and happy"
Vietnam broadly adopts a two child policy. Families are culturally encouraged to have two or less children so that the country can grow sustainably.
Choosing to have three or more children is socially discouraged, and could prevent a parent from obtaining a high-paid profession.
The roads of Danang.....you can feel the sense of serenity especially at midnight and longing to stay by the shore forever...
It's a lovely city intersected by hand river and South China sea and the vibrance and sense of life parcolates through the flow of the waters, lady Buddha, mountaneous terrains, dazzling lights of city's skyscrapers, dragon and han bridge and of course Fringe of coffee shops.
On the last night of our trip me and my husband were sitting in our hotel balcony and chatting about life in general. We decided to call two of our friends as were vibing so much with the weather, the sound of the ocean, darkness, empty roads and the moon of course and this ambience led us to making a few calls of our loved ones as those people were integral parts of our previous travel journeys throughout, obviously we were forced to miss them around us . We continued our chitchats till 2 am in the morning but still we couldn't get our feet on the ground and make our way to the bed to catch some shut eyes despite having an morning flight just a few hours after.
I realized Vietnam is a place that has so much to offer especially the peace that you long the most in your life and I tasted only a pinch of it within a week window. For anyone who even has touched even the hem of a garment knows it's beautiful or made for healing wounded souls and bodies. For us, I guess that was the case and we couldn't have asked for any better views from our hotel rooms, sunrise views, people, diversity and mostly the generosity around the country. We were literally in awe to see how far this country has reached and grown after the war and the DNA , Grammer behind every development of a country has to go to its people and Vietnam is no exception.
when was the last time you allowed yourself to really enjoy a moment? you might say, often, or recently. but i challenge you. did you not think “this is so nice- i wish it didn’t have to end”? “this cake is so good- but there’s so much sugar”? “ahh this feels so relaxing- but i have so much work to do after”? did you not stare at the view and wish you had your camera?
we literally do not know how to fully enjoy. even when we believe we are, we are unmindful. while at the same time, we are full of our minds. we are always thinking and when we are not thinking we are reaching for a device to think for us. because we cannot stand the silence. we cannot- not be busy. and if we’re not, we feel guilty.
don’t you know you have a right to just be? everything else you think you’re supposed to be doing, is just your own creation of unease. think about what you’re doing, but do not think about what you are not doing. do not think of how it could be better. do not compare now to a time before. otherwise, you are never going to experience our greatest gift to ourselves. en-JOY-ment. .

I think it’s safe to say this is the most incredible sunrise/ view I’ve ever experienced.
And no I didn’t hike up a mountain in a dress. I changed an hour later after I managed to stop dripping with sweat. Humidity is real here.
