This kid has no idea what he accomplished the other day, nor does he care but the mist trail is not easy, but worth it & I'm so proud of him. It's nothing without you! #happyisles#hikewithme#misttrailyosemite#vernalfalls#nevadafalls
&John Muir was closed so we had to come BK the way we came, which John Muir coming back is way better do it was Xtra challenging.
Fun fact:the last pic is taken across the way at the top of glacier point so u can see both waterfalls & that you were there & there.
Here's the Merced River in Yosemite. I shot it directly into the sun, with the spray from Vernal Fall back-lit... From the aptly-named Mist Trail. Maybe not the best photographically (and a cell phone shot to boot) but a cool scene nevertheless 😀. .
Welcome to Mist Trail and Vernal Fall at Yosemite! One of the most beautiful sights I’ve ever seen!!!! I think my iPhone got waterlogged in one of the videos when sound cuts out. Next time I may bring a poncho! #yosemite#misttrail#vernalfalls

Thanks to all the snow in Cali this year, Yosemite’s waterfalls are in full effect
400 feet of elevation gain to the footbridge below Vernal Falls: 👌
1000 feet of elevation gain to the top of Vernal Falls walking on the Mist Trail (trying not to fall off the edge!): 👌 (the view pictured here)
Gain more feet by walking to Emerald Pool: 👌
Gain even more by walking to Clark Point: 👌
Follow the John Muir trail back to Yosemite Valley Floor climbing over, under and across fallen trees and snow banks: 👌
Celebrating Earth Day by going to Yosemite National Park! We had so much fun hiking and climbing to the top of Vernal Fall! Laika, our German Shepherd puppy, loved the hike as well. I'm so proud of him making it to the top.
Inspiration photo and finished pendant of Horseshoe Bend. This custom piece was made as a gift for a bride to capture her beautiful wedding location. I am always happy to make custom pendants! Swipe to see another wedding location pendant of Vernal Falls and a set custom cufflinks made for the groom of the wedding chapel.
If you are interested in a custom piece or have an idea I’d love to hear from you! Email link above.
Well hi there!!!! I know I haven’t posted on my Instagram since March, maybe a few days after turning 30. I decided to take a break from IG and from my blog, because I needed time to process and reflect - you know cos apparently that’s what happens when you hit 30! At least that’s what happened for me. It has been a bizarre, busy, crazy, epic, challenging and beautiful six months! I’ve lost friends and relationships, but built new ones, rekindled broken ones, and loved and relied on old ones. I’ve learnt that it is only me that is in control of my happiness - well and truly only me - and that it is completely my job to fight for it in whatever way I can. I’ve learnt that letting go of things that no longer serve me will lead me to greater things that fill me up, and it’s those lessons which I’m so grateful for. I haven’t traveled as much as I would like, but I’ve grown a lot. I’m ready to get back into my travel blog, but only for me, and my happiness. So you’ll be seeing less of the edited shots and themed posts, and just more of me and my whims! If there’s one thing I’ve learnt this year, it is to be true to yourself and how you feel. And to be on the constant pursuit of rainbows, stars, mountaintops, sunsets and whatever else that may set your soul on fire! 🧡
