Oggi preparo una zuppa con le cicerchie.
350gr di cicerchie secche (io le metto a bagno la sera prima)
2 carote, 1 rametto di rosmarino e un ciuffetto tenero di foglie di finocchio selvatico
2 e 1/2 cucchiai d'olio d'oliva
Sale, pepe e una spolverata di curry.
Prima tosto le cicerchie con il finocchietto e il rosmarino con l'olio a fuoco alto, poi aggiungo carote e cipolla tagliati sottili dopo due minuti aggiungo sale, pepe e acqua ad occhio.. Se la si vuole più dolce e delicata si può mettere mezzo bicchiere di latte di riso...... Circa 40minuti a fuoco lento con coperchio, mescolare ogni tanto 😋👩🍳 💚

Little boo's breakfast from earlier! She's now having a snooze...Is it just my baby that barely lasts in the morning? She wakes up, I do her nappy and get her dressed, a small play, then breakfast...then not long after that she needs a snooze. She can be awake for hours in the afternoon though. I know how shes feels though...it's so exhausting getting up 😂

Look at this beauty ♥️✨ I got emotional this morning, as I’ve been battling with my weight gain for a while, trying all sorts of weird & wonderful diet & exercise regimes. So stepping on my scales & hitting 1 stone...I felt a sense of pride & relief! Because I’ve finally found something that works for me, works with my frame of mind. Something I can see myself sticking at.
1 Stone in 4 weeks. Ecstatic.

Norwegian “lapper” for breakfast this morning with some defrosted raspberries and cheese💪🏼
My mom and youngest sister got home from visiting my grandma in Norway last night and brought back homemade lapper. Found them a little difficult to eat especially with the cheese on the side. Both are a fear food. The pancakes as I don’t see them as foods that are very filling. Can’t explain the cheese🤷🏽♀️
But I have so many memories around lapper so when I got home from my boyfriends this morning and say them in the bread basket I chose to have 5! They were heavenly🙌🏼 the cheese is also from Norway. we can’t make the pancakes where I’m from because the recipe includes a special type of milk that we don’t have here.
My boyfriends parents invited over for dinner yesterday so we could get to say goodby before I left. Unfortunately I had a feeling that there be cake so have an idea that I ate less throughout the day than I should have... bad habits die hard. I even had an intense workout sesh. Still ate more than I would have in the past though.
Anyways dinner was lovely. An easy meal to eat a lot of veg though but still made myself take a little rice and even had a few spoonfuls of this peanut butter sauce that my boyfriend loves.
And I guessed right. There was cake and I had two pieces👏🏼 The most annoying thing is contemplating whether or not if I’ve eaten to much throughout the day. Did this yesterday. Often feel like I’ve had too much and the times where I feel as if I’ve restricted I still feel like I’ve eaten too much and therefor have a really hard time getting more.
I just broke my blender while blending this but gotta say it was worth it! #postworkout afternoon #snack was chocolate mango nice cream topped with blueberries, cacao nibs, peanut butter, strawberries and a crumbled cardamom biscuit plus a snickers protein bar!😂
The decision to step out of your comfort zone and stop trying to control food is the moment when food stops controlling you. It’s not just about controlling your eating or not eating but it takes over all your thoughts and all that you are. It tries to make you feel unwanted, not good enough and worthless. It tries to make you believe like there is no life outside your eating disorder buble but oh darling I promise you that there truly is. Losing weight never made and never will make you happy so don’t think that counting calories is the call of your soul. It isn’t. Outside of your comfort zone lies something much greater so dare to take the first step. No matter if it scares you to death in the end it will be worth it.🙏🏻

My son & husband love soup all year round, but personally I tend to eat it only when the weather turns cold. 🤷♀️ Well cold weather has officially arrived in the Northeast… And now soup 🍜 is a regular in the rotation. 🙆♀️ And my husband requested this 👆 one tonight. Recipe from @cookinglight this Lentil Tomato Soup is a longtime favorite, and each time it tastes better than I even remembered.😋😋..
The details 👉 Lentils cooked up with sautéed onions, vegetable broth, lots of spices, canned diced tomatoes, and a touch of fresh cilantro. Takes only about 15 minutes to prep then simmers into a flavorful, hearty soup over the next hour. Paired with cornbread (tonight we @stonewallkitchen Gluten-free cornbread mix), and a big salad, you've got a meal! 😍..
