Was macht ihr so?

After a week of heavy winter rain, the sun finally came out again in San Diego. Seems like everyone congregated at the beach today to show their appreciation! No joke, people *literally* applauded the sun after it set. 🤔 These people have obviously never experienced a Seattle winter where it rains for three months straight...😂

Here is Roma. My lovely campervan with her bespoke olive ash interior inspired by gypsy wagons and my love of the road. Available to hire from Watlington Oxfordshire . Solar panels means she has 12v power and an inverter gives you 240v. She sleeps four adults or a family of four on full sized double bunk beds. Full kitchen facilities with gas job, running water and fridge/freezer. Front seats rotate to give you a dining area for four people to sit at. Bohemian luxury on the road. Let the adventures begin. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

current perfect photo metaphor for bagheera as he’s moving fast but kind of staying in one spot as we track our shipping container with him inside of it. they never really told us the boat was going up above cuba first before coming down to cartagena. fun little surprise details! always great to be overly concerned for several days! bags please get here soon 🤞 #beoldlater#panamericanhighway#shipping#delica#guatemala
I've never spent any real time in NM until recently. It's proving to be a beautiful State with some amazing history!

I finished one side of the sleeping area with fabric using Thinsulate as batting. This was pretty difficult as it took me three tries so I ran out of fabric for the other wall haha. I glued 1/2" plywood to the wall to screw into, hopefully that holds. I also removed the window trim ring and screwed it down over the fabric so it looks clean. Apparently the only way to do it is with fabric tapping screws or any screw with a washer that doesn't move with the screw.
@johnsoncustomvansolutions has thought of everything which is why he is so good at his work. Anything from new windows, partial build outs or a full conversion, he takes the time and attention to focus on all the details - Making your idea a reality. 💡🚐
Here’s a glimpse into what’s become of our nightly routine so far. We’ve really enjoyed cooking in the van a lot more than we expected, and we are excited for the challenge of finding new recipes and meals to try as time goes on considering we don’t have an oven or even a microwave!

Morning👬Tag & Share with your Friends👍 My first car was a 1969 International Scout 800A, and I was terrified of driving it.
The scout had a 304 V8 and a 3-speed manual transmission in it, making it pretty perky and great on the beach. But that’s not what made me nervous about it, I was scared of it breaking down. See, this was my first car, and I didn’t know anything about working on vehicles. My dad taught me how to complete my first oil change on the Scout. I was 16.
A few months into owning the scout, my dad and I decided to re-wire it. Eventually we got tired of chasing electrical gremlins. I remember learning how to wire the headlights and my dad explaining how positive and negative wires work. I don’t know how long it took us to finish wiring it, but I do remember getting shocked a lot, and most of the work being done not by me.
After almost a year of owning the scout I was sideswiped while sitting at a stop sign, the Scout wasn’t totaled out, but it needed major body work. While the Scout was in the shop, my parents and I decided I needed a more reliable car to take to college in the fall.
Once the scout was done, I sold it and purchased my second car, a 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser. I owned this car for five years before selling it, and I taught myself everything from how to change the spark plugs, to how to install new gears in it. Yeah, some of the work wasn’t the best, but I was happy to be working on my car and proud that I could fix almost anything I needed to.
Now, while traveling, I carry more tools than clothes. I have more spare parts than dishes, and bring more extra fluids than beer. I’ve spent countless hours researching how to work on the F-250 and have downloaded the entire service manual onto my computer. The Scout taught me a precious lesson; I never want to not know how to work on my car again.

Hope everyone's had a great Christmas! We spent ours chilling out at an awesome but pretty remote campsite in Hawke's Bay, playing some mad Viking games and swimming in the sea - all with some real good company! Having a BBQ rather than a big roast dinner was a bit strange but we still managed to have Christmas pudding which is the most important part 👍🎄 Checkout .mood for more… 📷 by

Meet The Foxhole Bus! .
And its owners Shannon and Tammy from Colorado! .
Lots of wiring, plumbing, and framing happening right now inside. .
Shannon and Tammy are spending some of their weekends with us at the shop working on their build! It's such a neat experience to work side by side with the ones who will be living in the bus! .
This phase of building isn't the most exciting, but there are some exciting things coming that's for sure!
I’ve never really been one to miss home too much when I’m travelling, but I must admit I do miss my home on wheels that’s patiently awaiting my return in Canada. A few more adventures down this end of the world and then I’ll be back - hold tight Alpine!
“What goods a single wind chime hanging quiet all alone— the music our collisions make is the sound that turns, “the road that leads us back Home,” into “home.” @mewithoutyou — Happy Birthday (weekend) Nat ❤️
