Colorado bluebird skies! Beautiful spot to camp, and fortunately not too cold - the Mr. Buddy heater doesn't work great at 11,500 feet! (Actually it did ok when we opened the floor vent to let in more oxygen, figured that out in the morning)

Divi balodīši zem palmām satupuši, trešais cītīgi vēro. Saucām piebiedroties, bet viņam pašam savas lietas 🤗
It’s all about: Storage, storage, storage!
Check out these external storage boxes on the @base.camp.skoolie . It's a great place to keep outdoor items like a camping stove, tent, toolbox, etc. The smaller box allows for safe storing of propane, giving easy access to it as well. What do you think?
Today's video features @kendrastoner and showcases her awesome 1994 eurovan! In the video we get into why she chose van dwelling and what the community means to her.

My van isn't completely done yet however it is functional with everything I need. I just couldn't wait to get back on the road! So I took off and I'm glad I did. It was a great night sleeping in the foothills of the eastern sierras.

I fell in love almost every day during my 15 weeks on the road. Not just with people, but places, feelings, sights, sounds and situations. I am a changed person after each trip, more sensitive, more alive and with a heart so full it hurts 🙏 . #oliverthewesty

Home in the making 👌🏽 We are working on the seat boxes at the moment but spent our first night in the van and now we don't want to leave it. The fire we made in the house is a tempting incentive though. 🔥
Still a lot to be done! 🛠 💪🏼

I’m headed back to New Mexico for the upcoming @womenontheroad gathering this weekend! I’m super excited to connect with a bunch of wonderful ladies and meet more individuals within the community. Also, I’m pumped to be co-hosting a discussion-based workshop on Saturday! This weekend is going to be magical...I can feel it ✨ See you all so, so soon!

Highlights from this week in #vanlife:
- Drove the new van (Lars the Land Cruiser) onto a giant boat that took us from England to Spain in 24 hours. What a way to travel.
- Said hi then bye real quick to Spain and hightailed it to Portugal… straight into tail end of hurricane Leslie! Maybe shoulda checked the weather before leaving 🙄
- Wandered around the Monserratte Palace like an awestruck kid… holy mole. Absolutely stunning. Just so happened to get there right as the doors opened, so had the whole place to ourselves.
- Worked from a pretty remarkable library in #Porto. The one thing I never get used to in Europe is the architecture of ordinary buildings - apartments, cafes, libraries. It’s incredible how much more thought was given to the aesthetics of living spaces just a few centuries ago.
- Camped each night along cliffs above the Atlantic. The camp gods have been kind. Catching some pretty spectacular sunsets.

We've been mostly staying put at our job site during the last couple weeks of training, but yesterday we went off campus to explore part of the Salton Sea. If you don't know anything about the Salton Sea - you should do a quick google search. It's an interesting piece of history, and is kind of beautiful in it's own way despite being polluted by runoff and highly salinated and the "sandy shores" are actually just bones from barnacles and massive fish die offs. It did smell, but not nearly as bad as some people say.
the ACs out again, so a quick stop for a dip at playa el requeson on the way out of bahia de concepcion. bagheera was tempted to ford the gap on the sandbar but thought twice after considering all that salt... we spent the previous day relaxing (snorkeling, fly fishing, spear fishing, yoga, reading, beer drinking, telling stories around the fire...) at playa escondido with our new friends cory and bri — @ullr_goes_south — a couple more for the pan american class of 2018! (night photos to follow here or the blog). baja california sur is definitely delivering on all those paradise promises. #beoldlater#panamericanhighway#bajacaliforniasur#baja#mexico#adventuremobile
