Good Morning Sunshine.

What are your winter tips when you only live on solar energy?

While check out all the amazing #skoolies on here I came across @cs_vanlife .
Check out their great bus! Really love the huge side door.
Willpower brought us here.💫 If you really believe in something, don’t let yourself be crushed by "I should" or "I should not". When you feel that something is right, look straight ahead and go to meet your dreams.
Si haces lo que amas, logras lo que quieres!
My home on wheels and office for the next couple of months...all @eatmedo orders will be sent from here while we travel up the east coast of Australia in our van @adventuresofbigfoot ! If you guys have any tips or places to visit I’d love to hear from you! ✌🏻
Outside is about finding your own path, but so is owning a van. So many ways to do something so simple like insulation. That’s the beauty of vans - it’s YOUR way. Well done @cleocohen - keep on rocking! 🤘🏼 #ExploreVanX#Repost@cleocohen
Numero uno van aka the OG 🙌🏽🚐 Mitch has been working hard renovating up our first baby, and she’s treated us nothing but well on the road since 2014 💕 She will be up for sale before you know it, so here’s some photos of our very early adventures in her 😻

We left Ohio September 17th for our month long test run. I had to work a music festival in Joshua Tree and we really missed all of our west coast friends. Even though the van wasn’t done all the way we couldn’t wait to get on the road. Our solar panels and batteries were not even hooked up for the first two days on the road finally finishing the wiring at a rest stop in Kansas. Our shelving, cabinets, and pantry weren’t done so organizing and storing our things was chaotic. All of our food, toiletries, and household items were shoved in cardboard boxes in our cabinets that didn't even have shelves yet! But, we were so excited to be on the road again! The road brings out the best in me and Jon. It creates this sense of freedom and appreciation for each other. The mundane routines of normal 9-5 lives fries our brains. This permanent sense of cabin fever breaks us down little by little creating two walking giant stress balls ready to freak out at any moment. But when we are in vanlife we are happy and free. This is why we work so hard to be able to enjoy this life. With only one life to live, I don't want to be a giant walking stress ball for most of it.

Pepin, Wisconsin was good to us. Thanks to John B. For loaning us his house in the woods. We sat and stared at the wood burning stove, an older Jotul, all morning and night. The snowfall looked glorious on the vines and at dawn we watched a couple young bucks dance together with locked antlers.
Praying for everyone affected by the fires in Cali. A piece of my heart is in Malibu and California. If ever there us a time to spread kindness and generosity it is now. Be kind to your neighbor today ❤❤

Anyone else have this #problem?
One simple hose to connect our propane tank to our heater. 10 phone calls, 8 store visits, and 5 freaking hours later I've got the hose. 🤯🤬
It’s been such a treat having my sister @michelleeolsonn with us in the van these past 3 weeks!! The fact that you were brave enough to leave your job in NY and join us on the road is so inspirational. My sis came over here with the intentions of having a long 3 month holiday, but the good life was enough to change her mind as she’s decided to come back to Straya after Christmas!! I can’t put into words how proud I am of you. You have come such a long way in terms of the person you’ve become (Mich wouldn’t even ask someone for an empty bar stool to sit on in the beginning of the trip and now she asks people the color of the sky at her fundraising job 😂). This trip has been so amazing for all 3 of us - Brian and I wouldn’t want to spend it with anyone other than you!! We’re making memories that we’ll cherish forever. I love ya sis 💕
Floor installation finished. We chose a gym floor cover to maximize the durability and comfort. ——
La finition du plancher est maintenant complètée. Nous avons choisi un recouvrement de gymnase pour allier le confort et la durabilité. Le résultat est convainquant. Vivemement la prochaine étape. Merci @nordvan.info

It’s been so hard to keep this to ourselves but we’re finally ready to share the news with you that... we are moving to MEXICO CITY! 🇲🇽 I can honestly say I’ve never been so excited about the next chapter as I am this one! And let me tell you... this was SO unexpected for us. When Marco and I were having a rough week early on in van life, we decided we could use some time apart and with friends to take a breather and have the much needed alone time we struggled to get in the van! My friend @lo_behold.style told me she wanted to go somewhere “cheap and tropical” for her birthday and we decided to go to Mexico, having NO idea what God was about to do. Needless to say, I couldn’t believe how amazing this country is and how much I’ve been missing out on!
Like most Americans, my perception of Mexico growing up was not the best. I thought of it as “dangerous” and Mexico City has never been on my radar as a place worth visiting, much less living. But thankfully over the past few years of visiting almost 40 countries I’ve learned firsthand that the way the media portrays other places is often far from the truth. As soon as I got to Mexico City I realized that America could not be more wrong about this place, and I felt God tell me I was going to be a part of changing this perception!
I mean it when I say Mexico is my favorite country I’ve ever visited and Marco and I have fallen in love with every part of this beautiful place. The natural beauty, the vibrant cities, the food, the color, and most of all the people have truly captured us, and I am so passionate about sharing this beauty with the world!
We’ll still be doing the same things, but will soon get to say we are based in Mexico City! And we cannot WAIT for you guys to visit us and show you how dang underrated this place is ❤️ Here’s to a new chapter filled with chilangos, chilaquiles, churros, and probably too much tequila😜 As for #vanlife, we’re gonna have to save that for another post 😂 #CDMX, here we come!!!

Florida, you were good to us ✌🏼
We’ve spent the last 2 weeks cruising through some of Florida’s finest spots and it was a blast! I have a few good and bad to say about Florida as a whole though.
So many beautiful beaches, every place we went had comfortable waters with nice sand.
The animals are so diverse. There were alligators, iguanas, roosters, and so many awesome birds.
There is a ridiculous amount of tolls to efficiently drive through Florida. Next time I will be taking the longer routes with no tolls 🙅🏼♂️
I’m realizing how much of this land has been sold away for vacation homes, and resorts. I didn’t know this until we did a tour at Biscayne National Park, but Miami is completely artificial. All of that land was swamp land, the sand at South Beach was imported in! It’s kind of sad, that the land has been so disturbed by society 🤔
I’ve been reflecting on my previous travels of the western side of the country and it’s a different world and vibe. I love the beaches but there is little to no solitude.
I will definitely be back for some more Florida, but I’m a big fan of the west and southwest area of America.
Now we’re cruising up to Philly
#vanlife style. 🚐💨✌🏼
