#tbthursday to our girls weekend trip to Vegas. Glenda jumped off the freaking Stratosphere (crazy ass woman hahaha). A few of us did the zipline on the Fremont. Hiked around the Valley of Fire (my favourite lol)
Swirls of orange and pink melting through the yellow rocks like ice cream. The views at Valley of Fire state park in Nevada were absolutely insane. In typical Instagram fashion we went there expecting the road shot and some orange rocks, but this place is so much more. From rocks and wave formations of orange, yellow, pink, and white to walls of petroglyphs, this place deserves to be a national park. I was hanging out @austinsills sunroof every inch we drove around in this park shooting everything I could, too good.
Shot on a @canonusa 5d Mark IV with a 16-35mm f2.8L.
“Wait, this is your 5th day in Las Vegas and you still haven’t stepped in a casino?!?” Believe it or not that’s true. When it comes to my money I like a sure thing and even though I’m a licensed financial adviser I still only invest in a 401K 😱 this is my 3rd time here in the last 13 months and each time I discover more amazing hikes and see glorious sun sets so why should I feel the need to most likely lose money on a game I care nothing about? Something I do care about is trying to keep my waste down on vacation which is soooo difficult (especially when your family is not as eager as you) I’ve kept my water bottle and own napkins handy which has been helpful in some cases and when my husband went to the grocery store to refill the beer and snack stash he opted out of the grocery bags... but they put a sticker ON EVERY ITEM that thanked us for not using plastic 😑🤦🏼♀️ it’s ok, small changes make a difference so I don’t let little things like that soil the mood or memories I’m getting to experience with some of my favorite people. This photo was taken on the White Dome trail in the valley of fire, I highly recommend you do it but stay off the beaten path and scramble among the rocks, the views are soooo worth it. #whitedomes#whitedomestrail#lasvegas#vegasbaby#fatbutfit#simpleliving#couplesthathike#lowwasteliving#lowwaste#lowwastelifestyle#instagramers#valleyoffire#valleyoffirestatepark#familyvacation
Vale do Fogo?
Vários filmes foram filmados aqui, incluindo Total Recall, Viva Las Vegas, The Professionals e Star Trek Generations.
