#303 - Churros (02.14.19) “All the world loves a cruller”
Finishing off our #valentinesday2019 feast was the piece de resistance, churros! Now I work at an event venue that offers a churro buffet and it’s by far our most requested dessert option, so I know how crazy people get over churros. These were delicious and the hot, velvety chocolate dipping sauce made it all the more decadent 😋
#312 - Paella (02.14.19) “When scraping the bottom pays off”
I can’t tell you how excited I was to order this. When the server asked if we wanted to wait the required 45 minutes for the dish to be prepared- I almost laughed knowing we’d be gorging on other plates and this was the prize at the end of it all (before dessert that is). I would have finished every succulent grain of saffron-laced rice and every ounce of the accompanying plethora of seafood, but people started to stare when I began loudly scraping the pan. This is a seafood lover’s dream!
