WHY KSG WAS MY AOTY:
Well first off you gotta LOVE the artwork. Takashi Murakami KILLED it like with whatever he does for Kanye. I knew once I first heard “Feel the Love”, Ye and Cudders had brought us another banger. Best production of any project all year, smooth transitions between every song, beautiful message. Favorite part of album was definitely 4th Dimension NGL. Except for that weird ass giggling. My least favorite part of the album was whenever Kanye starts making random noises like HUHHH or GRAT-GAT-GAT. I know they’re not quite 100% random but damn still kills the vibe sometimes. 9/10 fo sho -HHHT
a lot of people i know are insecure, including me. society does nothing to help if anything they make this issue worse by setting insane “beauty” standards and make people feel bad about their own appearance. im still trying to love myself which is hard for anyone who’s cried in front of a mirror lmao all im saying is just give yourself a chance.
every once in awhile when I’m in my feelings I start to think of you, the thoughts that must’ve went through your head when they parked in front of you, jumped out the car, and pulled out guns. to be in that position, it seems horrible. it hurts to know you had to go through such a terrifying moment, atleast it wasn’t for long🤕. I’m sorry jahseh dwayne ricardo onfroy, I’m sorry that I couldn’t help you. I’m sorry that people just stood and watched, recording you instead of helping. I’m sorry that people can go so low as to taking a life over some worthless item and money. I’m so, so, so sorry jah. I love you. I promise you will have justice, we’re still waiting for so many answers. you won’t be forgotten king🌎
Sergio Leone’s 1984 gangster epic Once Upon a Time in America was his last film, and it was the one he always wanted to make. The almost four hour runtime and somewhat confusing storytelling might turn off some viewers, but it pays off in the end. Noodles’ journey through time being a Jewish gangster in New York City sees the different stages in his life paired with an amazing soundtrack from Ennio Morricone. The scenes with Noodles from the 1980s are very nostalgic and slow paces, but make for some of the most compelling. This is a gangster movie, but more than that I see it as a movie about regret. At the end of the movie, Noodles realized all of his horrible actions when he was young, but he could’t do anything to change them. It became easier for him to misremember things. The rise of a group of ruthless gangsters through their adolescence, adulthood, and old age shows all the ups and downs of their lives.
OUATIA deals with greed, loss, and regret. Each flashback helps to illustrate a different part of the gangsters lives and their struggles growing up and getting into organized crime from such a young age. The mysterious ending leaves it up to the interpretation of the viewer and also has the viewer feeling conflicted and confused. The different actions of Noodles and his friends leave the audience wanted to hate and root for them at the same time. I highly recommend this movie if you haven’t seen it before.
